It was older which we knew coming in, rooms are super nice and redone for being an older motel. Everything seemed to be clean, beds were super comfortable. My only complaints are: there is no one ever at the front, you have to call if you need anything, we arrived a little over 30 minutes before our check-in time and we were told we couldn’t check in unless we paid a $24 check in fee. We have stayed in a lot of motels over the last few years and I have NEVER had one tell me I had to pay an early check in fee. There was someone behind us wanting to check in too and he asked what was happening. When I told him he was very frustrated as well because he too was coming to check in. I understand if there aren’t rooms ready yet, but to charge a check in fee because they didn’t want to come check us in a little early seemed insane. Also the only thing out to eat for breakfast was waffles and 2 kinds of cereal. As someone who has food allergies, it was a little frustrating there wasn’t some kind of fruit or something. Everything in the kitchen area was very clean and kept up though.

The place is a dump. Entry side door could not be opened from the outside. Had to use the main entrance to carry in luggage. Two different electrical sockets didn't work in my room. The breakfast was an hour late and only cold cereal. The waffle maker wasn't hot enough to cook a waffle.
