Good location. Poor service

Requested 2 beds Received a double. When i asked if they had another room the receptionist said they were full which was clearly untrue. I didn’t bother to argue and then the lady said ‘well you booked the double’ with some attitude. Pretty dusty and a floor that felt dirty. Mattress was very firm and think. And I usually prefer a firmer mattress. Breakfast was shambolic. Instead of having a toilet roll we had one of those dispensers which gives out one small sheet at a time and then got jammed up. Overall poor experience. The location is fairly good but its such a small city it isn’t worth worrying about location too much.

Cool in 70's, now not so much

Don't expect a good breakfast. The options were very limited. Soda was offered as the only option to tea and very poor coffee. For a vegetarians/vegans there was only toast, sliced tomato and cucumber. The general state of the hotel made it look like it needed repairs. There were spider webs everywhere. The location was great for seeing the old town and the Danube river.

Stay in a hotel or airbnb but not this property.

When you book a boat and reach at 11 am, you expect you will get water side of the hotel room, but we didn't and this was Monday, when we went for breakfast we saw only 2 other families so all the rooms were empty but we were not allowed a room may be because we were asians? The room was very stuffy and the curtains were so light I could not sleep past 5 a.m.

A Novel Place to Stay

Stayed for 2 nights and was very pleased with the Botel. Quite a novel place to stay. The room/cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable and bed also very comfortable. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Location is perfect, very close to the centre of Bratislava,

The room was clean, comfortable, and warm in the meddle of the end year's night, in the reception everything went easily and nice, the breakfast was nice, we liked the view of the Danube while we were having our breakfast, it was so beautiful, the best thing is that the property is in the centre of Bratislava and you can walk to the old town, good price for nice, pleasant, comfortable stay

Room and Breakfast with a View

Wonderful views of the Danube and the boats that ply it PLUS easy walk to most of the sights of Bratislava. The chief negative was stained/dirty wall-to-wall carpet in our cabin. The bedding was spotlessly clean, however, and everything else was fine. Ample and tasty included breakfast. With a new carpet or other floor treatment, this room would deserve a rave.

Great hotel!

I liked it very much. Especially due to the balcony with view on the Danube. It's beautiful during the morning and evening. Room was clean, breakfast was delicious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The restaurant on the top of botel have good food and prices. 5 stars from me.
