Welcome to Little Alum, a gorgeous spring-fed lake in the quintessential New England town of Brimfield, MA. Brimfield is known as home to the largest flea market in the country. Little Alum is regarded as one of the cleanest lakes in Massachusetts due to its pristine water quality. Our 2 bedroom cottage offers an open concept with a beautifully renovated kitchen with quartz countertops and ss appliances. The living room features wood floors and a smart tv and is open to the kitchen. The year round sunroom features a dining nook and a daybed with a trundle for additional sleeping space. One bedroom features a queen size bed and the other a full size bed. The bathroom has an antique tub, must be able to step up into it. The charming cottage is located in close proximity to highways and downtown Sturbridge and off route 20 just a few minutes to downtown Brimfield and Antique show/flea market and super close to Sturbridge and many restaurants, breweries and more. Partial water views and just steps to a shared lakefront area with dock... Experience the magic of Brimfield at our serene cottage. 2026 completely remodeled kitchen new cabinets, quartz countertops, new ss appliances. New water system installed in 2025 for much improved water pressure.

Lovely, homey home

Great location for visit with family. All on one level but plenty of room. Fenced in yard great for dog &privacy. Neighbors friendly. Host very responsive &clearly cares about guests’ comfort.

From the initial contact with the host, I felt we had picked the right place. Gwen was helpful and responsive which eased any concerns about our stay. The property was better than advertised, the house was cozy, clean and had a great feng shui. It was perfect for our small family of furry friends. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place in a beautiful setting. 5 stars

We had such a wonderful stay! The cottage was perfection! So thoughtfully cozy, clean, comfortable and really beautifully decorated. We walked into a perfect temp, with soft fans on and relaxing music playing. Our pup had a great time too. He felt right at home. The lake was a few short steps away, dreamy, peaceful and clean. Gwen is quick to respond and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this lovely home!
