Amazing architecture. Very smart, polite, friendly and helpful staff. Extremely interesting building, full of history. Beautiful setting and massive grounds. Great views. Very comfortable. Set in the countryside the building is very impressive. There is ample parking but due to the hotels popularity one may have to walk a fair distance to get to the entrance. The entrance hall with its staircase is very impressive. On checking in the friendly receptionist gives you a map so you can find your room. This is a vital document as the route to ones room is a maze. We were upgraded and had a suite on two floors. Arriving late we had dinner in the Atrium. The food was good. The next morning we had breakfast in the Restaurant which was excellent. Prior to leaving we walked round the grounds which every guest should see.

Love this hotel!

I love staying at this hotel!!! Always feel like a princess, from driving down the long winding drive, checking in with the helpful staff, to being waited on by the attentive bar staff. The courtyard rooms are cosy but not always easy to find your way to them... The rooms in the main castle are stunning, well decorated and have everything you could possibly need. The Bistro bar serves great food and drinks with a lovely atmosphere. The main restaurant is a beautiful setting for a buffet breakfast with high quality food. I will certainly be going back!!!
