Love this hotel!

Absolutely stunning hotel set in beautiful grounds. Service was excellent from all members of staff we met. Artist in residence had the most thought provoking sculptures around the hotel - inside & out. Loved it!

Too many rooms for the facilities

Overall was fine- nice hotel but there was a huge queue for check in, long wait for a table for dinner (couldn’t pre-book in the atrium bar), had to pre book to use the pool facilities which were very basic and still overcrowded, then long queue to even get a table for breakfast. Think they’ve got too many rooms for the facilities they have

Lovely hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The gardens and grounds are absolutely picturesque and impeccably maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The food and drinks were consistently delicious, and the staff were all attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The spa was impressively large, and my wife especially enjoyed her massage. The only minor downside was that the sauna and steam rooms were quite small, only accommodating around six people at a time, which could be limiting during peak hours. Our room was very spacious and beautifully presented. We did encounter a minor issue with the bathroom, but housekeeping and management were quick to respond and resolved it efficiently, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would definitely recommend it.

Disappointing, could do so much better

Disappointing. How you find this hotel depends on what you are looking for. It has a fundamental flaw...it has more rooms than it has the facilities to service. It's marketed as a spa hotel, yet you are limited to a single hour because it's too small for the hotel. There is not enough parking, and every day there was a 20 minute queue to get sat for breakfast. They are so intent on pushing numbers through the door that the customers suffer in the process. Would not go back.

Excellent Food and Service

On arrival we were greeted at the Reception by a lady and a lovely young gentleman who checked us in. We were in the Main building on the 2nd floor. There is a lift to both floors. We sat outside for Coffee, Drinks and Lunch. We had dinner in The Main Restaurant in the evening and the food and service were both excellent. We have been before and will definitely be returning . I just wish that there were more Toilets as it’s a nuisance having to keep going into the Main Hotel when seated outside.
