Family holuday

We had a fantastic week in Brouchaud. The pool was fabulous and the children loved playing in the grounds. The house was uncluttered which was brilliant with young children but had everything you needed. It is out in the countryside but we like getting away from it all on our holidays. .

Lovely break

This was a lovely house in a very quiet area. (Suited us!) the pictures don’t do the house justice especially the outside. The pool was lovely. The garden is very private. The house is looking tired in places but didn’t affect our enjoyment. It was clean and very functional. Thankyou

Lovely house in the Dordogne with huge pool

A lovely house. The grounds are phenomenal with lovely views of the countryside. Plenty of room for people. Mahil was very helpful and approachable. Pool is glorious and huge. There was a heating issue with the pool but Mahil fixed it without haste. Slight issue is the shop is probably 20 minutes away. Also we paid extra for sheets and towels as didn’t have enough room in the car but there was only one towel each and no floor mat or tea towel. Otherwise very lovely property.

Peaceful and relaxing holiday

We had a wonderful autumn holiday in this villa. Mahil received us very kindly and the house was fully equipped. (Towels, bed linen,, hairdryer, dishwasher tablets etc). The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds comfortable and a good shower in the bathroom. There was plenty of things to keep you entertain in the garden too. (Table tennis, pool, swing, and a lovely swimming pool. Tourist activities are close by. We enjoyed visiting the Dordogne and the beautiful caves and castles. Thank you Mahil for the hospitality!

Fantastic house, beautiful location

We had an amazing week at this beautiful house. Very clean and tidy and literally every requirement has been thought about. The pool is amazing… lovey restaurant to walk to down the road as well.

Spacious villa, with good sized pool & fantastic garden

Villa was spacious, with group dinning inside & outside possible. Garden with shaded areas & large lawn was perfect for our dogs. Great location for walking & cycling, wooded areas & quiet country lanes made for a very peaceful week. Would definitely look to book again next year.

Super séjour au calme !

Nous avons passé une semaine entre amis avec enfants chez Mahil, tout était parfait, superbe accueil, maison spacieuse et super bien équipée, grand et magnifique jardin cloturé avec plusieurs espaces, grande piscine cloturée également donc tranquilité d'esprit avec les enfants. Mahil était un hôte très agréable et prévenant. Le seul bémol serait éventuellement l'insonorisation dans la maison (escaliers qui craquent et murs fins) mais c'est tout !

Mooie woning in een rustige omgeving

Alles prima wat betreft het huis, tuin, zwembad en gastheer. Geschikt voor ons gezin van 13 personen. Zeer rustige en mooie omgeving. Enig minpunt: geen grote voedingswinkels in de directe omgeving. We hebben er een zeer aangename week doorgebracht.

Très agréable

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette jolie maison propre, très bien équipée avec un magnifique jardin. Nous avions mis les enfants à dormir en haut pour pouvoir faire du bruit en bas et c'était parfait. Les deux salles de bain et WC ont été apprécié, les nombreux ustensiles de cuisine aussi. Le propriétaire est adorable, à l'écoute et arrangeant. Rien à redire, nous aimerions même y retourner l'été pour profiter de la grande piscine et du terrain de pétanque.

Nous avons passé une semaine entre amis (adultes et enfants ) durant le mois d'août. La maison , le grand jardin, la piscine sont très agréables.La location est bien adaptée pour un groupe de 15 personnes. Mais nous étions loin de nous imaginer , que l'état de sortie serait aussi tumultueux . Il a duré environ 45 min, Il a fallu renettoyer les parois de douche, la cafetière...et j'en passe, rien ne convenait au propriétaire .Pourtant nous avions fait le ménage. Et Quelle surprise,quand le lendemain, M.Grandchamp nous facture 200 euros sans prévenir aupres d' abritel, de soit disant "surcoût de menage non effectué". Nous le contactons pour comprendre, il nous reproche des choses absurdes ...un gravier retrouvé dans la piscine, 3 pinces à linge dans le compost (les enfants en jouant les avaient caché), quelques miettes oubliées sur une table (sûrement un enfant qui mangeait son gâteau en attendant la find état de sortie) , du sopalin dans le frigo(bac et étagères)pour ne pas le salir (alors que l'on a proposé de l'enlever avant de partir),3 cartes de pokemon oubliées dans un tiroir....bref . Une fin de vacances un peu gâchée par une attitude malhonnête. En 8 ans de location, première fois que nous avons ce genre de problème avec un propriétaire. Nous avons donc monté un dossier de réclamation auprès d'Abritel. Abritel,après 3 semaines d étude des photos prise par le propriétaire, nous a donné raison et nous les remercions . Pour conclure lieu sympa , mais propriétaire infernal et très malhonnête.

Séjour de 3jours au gîte

Super séjour dans ce gîte. De l'espace a l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Endroit calme... La piscine un vrai régal, L', hôte très sympa qui vous expliquera a la perfection la maison. Une très bonne adresse que je garde précieusement dans mon agenda.
