Welcome to this BRAND NEW HOME!! Construction finished in July 2024. Be among the FIRST to stay in this one-of-a-kind river front home, equally spacious inside and out. Sitting on 1.7 acres of riverfront on the Nantahala River inside the Nantahala National Forest, the property offers the greatest privacy and serenity of any home on the Nantahala. 650 Feet of riverfront! Walk in for fly fishing right off the property. Slide in your own raft or kayak from the property and be on your way down river! Walking distance to Bartram Trailhead. The Appalachian Trail (AT) cuts right through the Forest this property sits in and is accessible from many points. Mountain biking also available immediately off the property. Or…sit still and do nothing while lounging in brand new Adirondack chairs at the fire pit on the river’s bank while watching the rafters drift past.

BRAND NEW open floor plan private residence, with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, including gas cooktop and double ovens. Full dining area in addition to counter seating, complete with wet bar, pantry storage, and over-sized washer/dryer. Fully sealed gas fireplace in the living room with 12-foot sliding doors to an outdoor living space that runs the length of the home. This property has a whole-home generator, for year-round comfort. The deck comes complete with sitting and dining areas, and includes a Blackstone griddle for cooking.

The Master bedroom has its own access to the deck, and an almost 180-degree view of the property on the Nantahala River. The en suite bathroom hosts an enormous walk-in shower, jetted whirlpool tub, and private commode.

Two bedrooms upstairs host queen-sized beds, with beautiful views of the river. Adjoining bathrooms have dual sinks with spacious vanities and full showers.

The upstairs loft contains plenty of space for entertainment, complete with 65” TV, full-sized pull-out couch, and reading nook.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Close and lock all windows. Turn off lights and ceiling fans. Ensure the coffee pot is turned off. Place all used linens in the laundry room.
Place all garbage bags in the garbage cans outside, to the left of the ground-level door at the front of the house. Please remember to also empty the pet waste can, if used during your stay.
Coordinate your departure with the property manager to facilitate key hand-off, or return and lock the key into the exterior lockbox under the front porch.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
