We were initially given a room with dirty towels, unmade bed, tea in cups, clearly not seen by a housekeeper since the previous guests departed. We were given another room on a lower floor. This room, unfortunately opened onto the alley below with lots of noise from the bars all night long. The manager brought up a bottle of wine and fruit gratis. The room was small with minimum drawer space snd no chairs. All in all, it was an okay place located in a nice area, convenient to public transportation.

This hotel was a disappointment and the staff were not helpful or efficient. One of the front desk workers was down right rude. I asked twice for an iron for my room and waited almost 5 hours for it had to end up going downstairs to get with an injured leg. The rooms are dirty visible mold on the bathroom tiles.

The hotel is in the old city. The better rooms are facing the street. There is a bar in the street with very loud music day and night. In the first night we realized that we cannot sleep. The next day the front desk provided us with... ear plugs. It is clear they know about the problem. The ear plugs did not help. Only after my demand to call the police the music stopped at 01:30!. Next problem is the airconditioning. The room was too cold but we could not increase the temperature. The front dest promised to send a technician but he never came. Next morning the front dest told me that BY LAW they cannot set the temperature over 19 degC. I do not believe this story. So if you like loud music and low temperatures - this hotel is for you.

Hotel itself is excellent. Staff courteous and efficient. Unfortunately the bar across the way plays extremely noisy music into the small hours, I would not stay here again despite the high quality of the hotel

A very good location. Nice and kind staff. Very good breakfast. The very bad things. A terrible smell in the whole room. I am sure is due to a gas trap malfunction in the bathroom. A horrible and annoying music sound from a bar right across the street. It last until 3 am every night. Impossible to sleep!

Hotel is in a great Old City location, close to restaurants, bars, and clubs. It is 50 feet away from the Old Court Church and the justly-famous Hanul Lui Manuc Inn/Restaurant. And only a very short walk to Piata Unirii metro station. Room was clean, a comfortable size, with a nice street view. The staff is friendly, helpful, and their English is good. HOWEVER, the rooms overlooking the street are noisy. There’s no way to disguise this. There is a LOT of construction taking place at the Piata Unirii; it will be grand when it’s all finished, but even after the construction is finished, there are restaurants and bars close by, and these will NOT be gone, even if the construction is gone. Party noises and traffic/emergency vehicles are, sadly, pretty evident. Let me be clear: I liked this hotel; I slept ok, and the hotel is a great location. But if you need total quiet, you may need someplace else.

Excellent staff . Great location. Very nice room. The only negative is the bar music from across the street. The music was excessive, and lasted until 3:00 am. The Hotel gave us a late checkout of 2:00 instead of 12:00 which was appreciated.
