We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment in Budapest. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to all the wonderful restaurants and sights. The furnishings were comfortable and welcoming, and the apartment was spotless when we arrived.Check-in was very easy, and communication with the owner was excellent throughout our stay. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches that made it feel like home especially Tom’s artwork. We also appreciated recommendations for restaurants. A hand bar in the tub/shower area would be a helpful addition, but overall, this is a delightful place to stay when visiting Budapest. Highly recommend!

Tomas the host greeted us at arrival and showed us how everything worked. This is a 10 out of 10 property. It is a well cared for unit with a comfortable bed. It has a small balcony for happy hour wine or morning coffee. The location is central to everything. We like to walk and could walk to most things we wanted to see. There is a grocery store located just a few blocks away and so many restaurants located nearby. Would highly recommend staying here for your time in Budapest.

My friend and I were spending a short time in Budapest and both Tom and the apartment were fantastic - Tom was so sweet and had a huge list of recommendations for food and things to do.The apartment was beautiful and the balcony was perfect for sitting on in the mornings to eat breakfast and look out on the street. Budapest with a balcony

If you want to stay in Budapest, close to many of the main attractions, but not in a sterile hotel, this listing is the one for you. Lovely one bedroom apartment within walking distance of the Gellert Baths, Central Market Hall, merely two blocks from the Danube ... it's a great location and comes with a balcony overlooking Peres Palne u. Some information that others may leave out ... very close to restaurants lining Vaci u., but if you want to stop at a market, Lidl is only a 5 minute walk away (but this Lidl is very busy and crowded). There are other markets nearby in addition. There are bus and tram stops close by, and the Astoria metro stop is only 5 blocks away. The bedroom is very large, but the kitchen is fairly small. It has a refrigerator but no separate freezer compartment. There is a compact clothes washer but no dryer (we were able to dry our items with the clothes rack.) The apartment is in an older building ... part of the charm. However, the elevator closest to the apartment has its quirks and failed to operate several times. The apartment is on the 4th floor ... labeled the 2nd floor in Hungary. Ground is 0, there's a "half floor," followed by the 1st floor then the 2nd. Fortunately there's another (much more modern) elevator across the courtyard that serves when the old one is having its quirks. Really enjoyable stay in Budapest.

The Budapest apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, and convenient to transportation & attractions. My wife & I had a great time there. Tom was a very helpful & pro-active host. Great information regarding location, check-in, transportation, and local area prior to arrival. He arranged transportation to/from airport for us as well. He had excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do. He was also very quick to answer questions during our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

It was such a pleasure staying at this apartment in Budapest. The location was ideal, lots to do and see within walking distance and a train station close by. Many restaurants and bakeries in the area. The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable for the two of us with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Tom, our host, was wonderful, arranging transport to and from the airport and giving us recommendations on activities that would be of interest to us. Wonderful stay in a beautiful city

Our beautifully renovated apartment, located in a 100+ year-old building, was centrally located just off the main walking/shopping street, and a 5-minute walk to the Danube River! Our host met us upon arrival, and spent a good half hour walking us through the beautifully decorated apartment, orienting us to the major sights of the city, and provided recommendations for several nearby restaurants - each of which were superb! We will definitely book this wonderful apartment on our next trip to Budapest. Thank you, Tom!
