The Sign is on the Door for a Reason

This was a great hotel with a wonderful price for its outstanding location! The only complaint that I have is that the cleaning lady came into my room when I had the “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door. I had a feeling to go back to my hotel to take a break from touring when I walked up & saw her in my room looking at my items & touching my travel bags. She told me she found the sign in the room (which falls & glides on the floor as it happened to me earlier) instead of on the door & I politely asked her to leave as I didn’t need any cleaning service or anything more in my room. I was there during Christmas Market season so everything was walkable from this hotel. The Christmas market was a lot smaller than what I thought it was going to be, but so special because of the location & history of Budapest.

The airport shuttle is convenient connecting from the city center to BUD airport. The cost is reasonable too. The surrounding area has many restaurants and also in the waling distace to the turoist spots. A great place to stay.

Great location for tourists

Location was in the heart of the old town and within a few minutes walk of the bus stop. Room was spacious and bathroom had toiletries provided. Had breakfast on 1 morning which was nice and buffet style with a small cooked selection at a cost of €15pp

It was a great stay. The location was the best, i had no problems during my stay. The room was very nice and clean, the staff was mostly friendly. The only thing i can say is that event though it was off season and the hotel was clearly not fully booked, they didnt let me extend checkout time even for an hour. Sometimes you just have to take initiative to help out a solo traveler whos been there a few days with no problems, no requests…

The location literally across from one of the iconic sites of Budapest, St Stephen's Basilica cannot be beat! Every kind of restaurant is available. Great location, nice breakfast spread.

Very central location and the rooms were quiet, despite being in the centre of the basílica área. Staff was very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

My wife and I went to Budapest for the Christmas Markets and the Hotel is located directly in the market which makes it an awesome place to plan your excursions from. The staff was awesome. The airline lost our luggage and the desk clerk was kind enough to call the airport and speak to them in Hungarian and insure that our bags would be brought back to the hotel and they were. Overall an awesome experience and we will absolutely be staying here again.
