Not Quite the Getaway We Had in Mind stay got off to an interesting start when we were greeted—not by staff—but by clearly intoxicated guests both outside the front entrance and oddly enough, behind the front desk. Not exactly the warm welcome we were hoping for. We had hoped to use the gym during our stay, but unfortunately, it’s located inside the spa area, which has limited hours. Unless you're on spa time, the gym might as well not exist. Breakfast was decent—good, not great. It did the job, but don’t expect anything memorable. Overall, the experience was a bit underwhelming. The potential is there, but it felt like the place was trying to be more polished than it actually is. A few changes could go a long way.

Excellent Escape at Mystery Hotel!

I typically don't write reviews but I had to take a moment to appreciate the excellent experience from start to finish. To me, it was very important to have a **quiet** and clean room with a comfortable and luxurious bed, whilst still being minutes from popular spots in the city center. breakfast: generous, varied, and absolutely delicious. Staff: Everyone was above and beyond I'm glad I chose this hotel which made my trip to Budapest smooth and enjoyable!

It wasn’t just a stay—it was an experience. Every detail of The Mystery Hotel was crafted to immerse you in suspense, curiosity, and discovery. We checked out, truly hoping to come back someday, already planning my return. The room is filled with thematic articles, such as the phone, paintings, drapes, and everything. Very comfortable and clean. The building is beautiful; the location is close without being in the middle of all the buzz.

The property was one of the best we've stayed in. It was clean. Spa was lovely and massage was good. Everyone was so nice. All services were great (although we didnt have any food). There was no noise disturbances, which was great for a restful sleep! Sky Garden had a lovely view and atmosphere. It was close to everything we needed. Can't fault it in any way
