Beds = 4.5 stars.
Quite comfortable.
Room Amenities = 2.5 stars.
Looks lavish, but niceties didn't match decor.
Some USB, but not many.
1 lamp was missing a knob.
Small Fridge
No Microwave in room, 1 shared on the whole floor.
Bathroom Fan did not work.
Tile was quite slippery.
A little light on towels. 2 towels for a room that sleeps 4.
Hotel itself looks great at first. However, the "low price" came with a different kind of price...the price of riff-raff staying there. Just trashy people looking very out of place in such opulence. This was once a nice place to stay. Now it's the Red Roof Inn with a fancy window dressing.
Breakfast. It was good. But not included. I stayed here some years ago for a work Christmas party, and I remember the next morning the whole downstairs filled with people and a huge wonderful breakfast buffet. Now it is MTO food. That said, it was actually cheaper than McDonalds' breakfast.
If they raised the prices $30 a night, did some basic maintenance, restore / add a bar, this place could shine again, being reasonably priced, but keeping the trashy pot smoking crowd and criminal element at Red Roof and Motel 6.
