We have stayed at this hotel at least two extended weekends a year for the last several years. Unfortunately, this stay, we noticed the property is in dire need of remodeling. The carpet is stratched and rippled and very stained and dirty. The beds are very soft. There are no shelves or shower racks to sit soap, shampoo, etc. We took our own the last few trips. There was no ice b7cket in the room. We make sure to lock our bedroom door, but came back mid afternoon to find the door open. The room was not serviced and there was no reason for any one to enter. We notified the front desk. They asked what they could do to make it right. We didn't find anything missing , but our sense of security was certainly shaken. They only leave 2 towel sets in the room. I asked for extras at the front desk and the second morning they only replaced with 2. Staff are very nice.

The hotel was quite unique and had charm. Location had easy access to shops and restaurants. But during our stay, our room had a faulty AC unit and the bed was not comfortable. The mattress they had was too soft and it felt like we were sinking when we laid on it. When we requested to have a fan instead, we had to go down ourselves to grab it. I guess we got what we paid for since the night stay was affordable. It could be better.

Needs updating

Overall the hotel was okay. It desperately needs updating, the furniture is old and scuffed, the carpeting is stained and wrinkled, these things make it feel like the room is dirty but ultimately on the room is clean otherwise. The Jacuzzi is WONDERFUL! That alone would bring me back.

The front desk people were extremely friendly. The ambiance in the entrance way was beautiful.. room was very dated.. remote didnt work well.. bed was comfy. Jacuzzi was nice. Oddly. there were no shelves in the shower or bathroom put our shampoos/toiletries so it was hard to hold our stuff while showering. The price was fair but definitely could use a major update in the rooms. The staff is very accommodating though and thats a win!

An easy five minute drive to the airport, but no Airport noise. Everyone was very nice, I enjoyed the stay. But there’s no restaurant or pool. The decor is so Salvatore. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

SHOULD AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

The only redeeming thing about this hotel was the very friendly front desk staff. This hotel should be REMOVED from the Hotels.com website altogether. If it is not removed, Hotels.com should REVISE its 7.8 "Good" rating as there is no reasonable basis for giving this rating, if you read the reviews people are leaving. I made the mistake of NOT reading the reviews and relying solely on the 7.8 Good Hotels.com rating. Our room had both pink and black mold on the walls and surrounding the jacuzzi/hot tub. There were stains on the carpet, broken furniture and outlets that did not have covers, creating a fire hazard. We arrived at 9 pm- no food options, bar was closed, if it ever is open at all. The air in the room was pungent and stale. There were dental floss items on the floor left by a prior guest as seen in my photos so the rooms were not cleaned. This the most awful, disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in. It should be shut down by the city/county/state health department as it is not sanitary as the air quality, mold and uncleanliness are health hazards. Stay away. Even though I don't live in New York, I will gladly join efforts to get this place condemned and shut down. If we had arrived earlier in the day, we would have gone to another hotel, but we arrived very late in the evening and had an early flight out of Buffalo/Niagara Int'l airport.
