House was great! Cute and charming, the yard was great but we didn’t spend much time there. One thing to note is that essentially all plug ins are 2 prong so just be prepared with those types of plugs to charge with! We had a great stay and everything was as advertised

We had a great stay. The house really is perfect for big families! Everything was clean and well furnished. The house is very attractive. There's lots of shopping, restaurants, and attractions very close by. Highway noise didn't bother us at all. The kids loved playing outside. Our hosts communicated well and were very accommodating. The only thing that would have been helpful to know beforehand is the number of two-prong outlets in the house - we had to use some adapters in order to plug in some devices with three-prong cords. NBD. Great place to stay!

Fun stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Traveling with our family of 8, our kids enjoyed the backyard and having room to spread out throughout the house. It was kind of like staying at your cool cousin's house! We loved all the crafty touches throughout the house. The road in front is very busy, but the sound machines and ear plugs provided really help with the noise. Also, the fenced in backyard was really nice to unwind in. It was pretty buggy out there this time of year, so we would recommend bug repellent. The area around has a lot of fun things to do - Dewey's or LaRosa's pizza and Graeter's Ice Cream to name a few. It was just a 30 to 40 minute drive to the Ark encounter. If we're traveling to the area, we would definitely stay here again.

Great convenient location for Ark Experience and Creation Museum

This was a great little stay in a nicely restored historical home. Large yard for the kids to play when we were at the home. Krogers and other stores within minutes distance. The location was convenient, but I did give 4 stars on that as it is right off a main road. Safety is not the issue as the parking and gated access is tuck back nicely, but the house is next to the main road, so it is a bit noisy. I would still stay there again.

Excellent!

Beautiful home! Love the decor, comfortable beds, great dining room table to seat the entire family! The yard is wonderful for the kids and adults. Highly recommended. A great stay. We visited the Ark and Creation Museum as well as the aquarium which was amazing too.

Two families with small kids, perfect outdoor accommodations, lovely interior, overall favoeite property we have stayed at! Busy road but after an hour or two i dodnt even notice it. Loved this property!

Well appointed. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom and bedroom linens Convenient to to near by attractions and grocery store. Property is on a busy road and road traffic noice is noticeable. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for Families!

We stayed here for a trip to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The property could not have been more perfect for our family of 5! It was ideal location, close to both attractions and also plenty to do/eat nearby. We weren’t able to enjoy the backyard much due to weather, but plan to book again when warmer. So we can.

Just Book Backyard Wanderland...You won't regret it!!

We had an amazing stay at Backyard Wanderland! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home. It was spacious enough to comfortably fit our family of seven.The large 10-person round dining table was the perfect gathering spot for family meals. Our kids absolutely LOVED the outdoor space! The two playsets, loft-style playhouse with electricity, basketball court, firepit (stocked with wood), and walking path kept our kids (ages 9 to 1) entertained for hours.Although the house is near a main road, its thoughtful positioning and landscaping created a private and peaceful environment. With five kids, the road noise wasn’t a concern and was only noticeable when emergency vehicles passed with sirens.The location was ideal—just a short drive to the Creation Museum and close to the Ark Encounter.Josh and Terra were fantastic hosts—responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. We appreciated their extra touches, like coordinating a DoorDash delivery for supplies and salting the driveway and walkways before snowfall.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Backyard Wanderland to anyone looking for a family-friendly, relaxing getaway. Thank you, Josh and Terra, for helping make our trip unforgettable!

Great Stay!

We loved our stay at this location! The playground was awesome for our kids, unfortunately the weather was too cold for them to really enjoy it. You have to watch for the driveway, it was easy to miss just because of the busy street out front, but once we found it, it was great. House was awesome. Perfect for our family. Recommend this location for your family getaway!

Great central location

This home was beautiful with plenty of room for our large family. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful back yard with playset for the kids. Mild downside was closeness to street and could hear cars driving past but the family did provide earplugs in each room. We would definitely stay here again :)

Fabulous!

Wow! Tara and Josh‘s property was fabulous! Everything was totally clean, well stocked, and the accommodations were bright, cheerful, and very spacious. We had plenty of room to stretch out and have family time with all nine of us. On our last day, we had eight cousins come over for a short visit, and they all thoroughly enjoyed the HUGE backyard, especially the basketball court! Josh and Tara were fabulous hosts and were immediately available and SO accommodating with any needs that we had. We would DEFINITELY stay in this home again! It was fabulous!
