Comfortable hotel in the heart of Haeundae

Overall, it was a very nice hotel with a nice view in a great location. The bed and swivel chairs were very comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. My suite had a kitchen, but no pots or utensils, which was kind of odd. I would have liked the option to skip cleaning or reuse towels to make my stay more eco-friendly.

I’ve been coming for a long time (many years) to this property. However, I’ve noticed the property hasn’t been keeping the rooms up to date. A lot of damage around the rooms (wood damage) (stains) and wallpaper falling down. At night, the room and hall is too dark. They replaced many of the lights with yellow dimmed bs bright white lights. The bathroom was the only well lit room. I was quite disappointed since I stayed for 4 nights. I also found out the check-in desk was moved to a totally different floor. Then i saw a sign that there were a total of 6 hotels in this building.

This was a perfectly adequate hotel for the cost. We appreciated the living area and kitchen space. The reason I’m writing this review is that there needs to be instructions on checking in. It’s a 42 story building with 5 or 6 hotels in it. Our taxi driver was confused as it is difficult to recognize as a hotel, as there is only a small sign and The check in desk is on the 5th floor. This took a while to figure out and the taxi driver had to help us.

The location is fantastic and the price of the room is quite affordable. The room was large and clean. The bed unfortunately was uncomfortable, doesn’t provide enough back support and it would have been nice to have more pillows. Also the door frame to the bathroom was broken. I noticed before I was checking out so didn’t bring it up with the hotel but that was really odd.

Haeaundae is the place to be. And this hotel has the perfect location. It feels like home to me because the room is big, more like a small apartment. We really loved our stay.

Expedia advertised the room deluxe studio using photos of deluxe suit. We were humiliated by the afternoon front desk when we asked if we have access to laundry. He said: you had paid the cheapest price for your room, no laundry came with your room. Location is good, the rest is not. Would not recommend to anyone.

Some of the wallpaper is peeling off, rust in the toilet, and rattling of the windows and building during heavy rain in the middle of the night. TV keeps disconnecting for some reason and there were only a few channels for the tv in the bedroom. Room is really big though, i booked the side ocean suite. At first glance the room looks very modern and nice but problems start to show up as you stay there for more than a day. The water drainage for the shower (tub) and basin is very bad. It was choked majority of the time. Maybe i was unlucky, but the front desk was on different floor check-in and check-out day. Feels like the hotel is understaffed as some of us were made to wait while they attend to customer calls. Overall, it is a really nice looking hotel if you can get past the issues.
