The Ensana Crescent Hotel offers a truly relaxing experience, thanks to its excellent spa facilities that are perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The interiors are warm and cosy, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the property. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant is a treat; the food is lovely and well-prepared, though it does come at a slightly premium price. However, there are a few areas that prevent me from giving this hotel top marks. The single-glazed windows mean that noise can be an issue, especially during events like the Christmas market. Additionally, I noticed stains on towels and bedding, which detracted from the overall sense of cleanliness. Finally, while the staff were friendly, they seemed inexperienced, resulting in service that felt average rather than exceptional. Overall, the Ensana Crescent Hotel has a lot to offer, particularly for those seeking a spa-focused getaway, but there’s room for improvement in terms of maintenance and service quality.

The room was great, we had one on the back of the hotel overlooking the hills. We used the spa when we arrived and before we checked out. The hotel is in the process of changing owners, the staff seem a little sad whilst still staying professional. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment for us. We’ve stayed here a lot so have plenty of other times to compare too. Yea cups were dirty & had to be changed, tea didn’t arrive & we had to request again. The fruit salad was on the turn, old melon that had started to ferment. Just seemed like they were ‘winding down’ we will visit again when the new owners take over so hopefully will see improvements to how it used to be.
