Good looking hotel. Breakfast service was terrible, missing food and clean tables, clearly missing more staff! Reception on one tower, my room on the other tower far and tricky to find.

The Flynn is a lovely location on the Esplanade. Great for walking along the water. Lots of dining options in the hotel and surrounding. Splash Seafood was fantastic, as was Just Divine Gelato. Nights Markets are steps away as well!

Excellent location. Close to everything and connected to he night market and Esplanade. My complaint is that they don't wash their pillows and one of mine smelled like it was soaked in sweat, not necessarily body odour, but moreso like a wet towel, from the previous guests who used the room and they only changed out the pillow case. It was so bad I had to throw it in one corner of the room. My second room (had 2 different bookings) was a lot better. But there was a lingering musty smell coming from the decorative pillows, which I think is caused by the humidity. Tbh those decorative pillows are not needed. Theure just a waste of space.

Very nice hotel in a very convenient spot of Cairns CBD. Loved the pool that is transparent to the restaurant area downstairs. You can easily walk down the street and there are just tons of restaurants nearby that are all very good, and the night market is great for shopping for souvenirs. Coffee shop there that opens early morning by the night market corner is a great option for breakfast. It is also walkable to the Marina terminal as well as the Cairns train station (for boat tours and Kuranda train ride). My only issue is the room we had was slightly too small for 2 parents and 1 child (with rollaway bed). The bathroom was also small. The glass door for the shower area was not water tight and water leaks out.
