The location of this hotel is perfect right in the centre of town. You can walk through the night markets to get to the esplanade. The people who greet you are warm and very friendly. Judy was especially lovely. The rooms have everything you need are spacious and very clean. We had a one bedroom apartment and it was very good. A;lovely big fridge and all the crockery and cutlery you require. The AC was wonderful we had it on 24 and it was more than adequate over night. The parking was a huge bonus. Some apartments look over the pool some over the street we had 21 which looked over the street. I would rate this experience equal to our normal stays at the Pullman for half the cost. A beautiful find.

The room was clean and as well-appointed, as advertised. The people were very friendly and responsive to minor issues we raised - very customer-focused. Ideal location for exploring Cairns. Staff felt welcoming and keen for us to get the most out of our stay. We have already highly recommended it and a friend has made a 10 day booking for next year today!

Hotel is dated. Toilet sometimes does not work. There is a sign in the bathroom that says the bathroom door has to be closed during shower or it will trigger the smoke alarm, and hotel guests will be charged. There is just one problem - there is no window nor ventilation in the bathroom. I felt like I could not breathe when I was showering. There are also many signs in the room that say we will be charged if we do not do this and that (which I found offensive), such as do the dishes and take out the trash (the small trash bin is 2 floors down.) The reception hours are very limited, 8 to 4 weekdays and 8 to noon weekends. Most tours we booked start at 7:30 am and end after 5, which made it hard to check in with the reception to sign paperwork as requested by the hotel. On the bright side, the living room is good size and there is also a small dining table. We do appreciate having the washer and dryer in the unit.

Can not fault the location Unfortunately the garage door was broken so the car wasn’t secure but understand this wasn’t planned Shower drainage wasn’t great. Would often end up with a puddle of water at the toilet because of proximity Would we come again however? Yes we would

Cute picturesque apartments with an Italian style theme. Great swimming pool and very close to all the dining options and activities in the CBD. Apartment was very clean and had everything I needed. Would happily stay again!

Comfortable in an excellent location

The apartment was older style but well maintained and comfortable. It is in a great position close to everything The manager and reception lady were very friendly and pleasant as well as helpful. I shall certainly be happy to stay there again if I have the opportunity.

Heated pool bliss

Heated pool is superb and well maintaned. Should consider King bed and slightly softer mattress. Dining chairs while fashionable were uncomfortable. The A/C for our unit could do with a service Otherwise we had a great time, we will be back

Older style hotel in the centre of town. Has all you need in the apartments. Pool area only small with few sun beds. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff lovely. Walk to everything in town.

Little gem of a stay.

What a little gem the apartment was! Close to the dock and the promenade, in the heart of where it was happening but a quiet oasis with it's own heated swimming pool. The apartment had everything we needed from the well stocked kitchen to the laundry area. 2 TV'S, one in the lounge and one in the bedroom. Bath as well as a shower. Little balcony to eat breakfast or just chill. Trevors on the front desk was so friendly and helpful. David had a new outfit every day!

Il Pallazzo is an apartment hotel located in the heart of Cairns. We walked to everything! The train station for our trip to Kuranda, Reef Terminal for our Great Barrier Reef trip are all less than 10minute walk from the apartment hotel. And the night market is next to the apartment hotel. This apartment is very quiet, low key, & it has a secured parking lot. Perfect for our 30th wedding anniversary!
