We were upgraded to a suite after our first night in a king room was awful. Suite experience was MUCH better, however this hotel is still very tired. Beds, pillows and linens need to be replaced. Towels were changed every day and soap and shampoo refilled however bed was never touched once in 6 nights??? The fan in the bathroom sounds like a 747 and does not even remove shower humidity. The best part of our stay was a really great breakfast included. Fresh foods, not all packaged junk like some of these types of hotels. We really appreciated the room upgrade but would not book here again.

Good central area for our weekend get away

Very friendly staff. Hotel room was spacious and typical hotel breakfast with no complaints. There were swimming lessons taking place at the pool during our stay. Although we could still use the pool during the lessons, our kids couldn’t enjoy it as much as they would have liked as there wasn’t much space to swim. It was hard to find parking in the hotel parking lot during the stampeder game, I’m not sure if the parking lot is limited to guests only. It’s location was fairly central to everything we had planned for the weekend (zoo, Calaway Park, heritage village).

disappointing

The bathroom door did not close, the shower curtain was so short that the water sprayed onto the floor, the water temperature in the shower fluctuated a lot. One of the bedside lamps did not work (burned out bulb?), the mattress was old and sagging and every spring was palpable. It was a very uncomfortable night, and very disappointing for the price. I did not have high expectations but even my low expectations were not met.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. The only criticism I had was there was not a clock in the room and there was no place to hang towels to dry after use.

Poor quality - no comfort

Very bad smell in the room. Sheer draperies are in shreds. Toilet seat bubbled and peeling. Uncomfortable bed. Cheap sheets. The whole place needs an overhaul.
