It is EXTREMELY rare I write stuff like this but I am so beyond unimpressed with my stay at a Globalstay Inc property in Calgary, AB. The list of things include: - couch was broken and so small me and Ryan could not fit. - no access or help to sort the extreme heat with no AC in the unit. We’re told to just turn on the bathroom fan to help in 26 degree weather 🙄 - They mention any noise past 10pm we will be charged yet the above peoples little dog barked PROFUSELY through the night AND anytime we arrived or did anything. - The add states a patio is available which it was not. It was a small basement suit with no outside area at all to access besides the cement slab at the door. The place was so awful we decided to drive home a day early as we knew we would sleep better on the road then with the dog barking in the yard at our bedroom window again. BUT to make matters even worse… it’s now been a week we’ve been home since leaving and they are trying to charge for a kettle (of which we NEVER used) that is no longer working. I have done SOOOOO much traveling in my life and booked all our stays. I’ve NEVER been so poorly treated and lied to by a company. Save yourselves the money and headache dealing with this company. The one time I tried a company and I’m never going to again!

For check in, no one answered the phone numbers to open the door for (over ½ hour of trying) so had to leave and then come back. Only response came on the text message system opposite to what the check-in sheet says to do. No AC in the apartment. The glasses had a peculiar smell to them, not the clean kind. The bed was comfortable.

Really nice place and very clean would definitely stay again. Would have been 5 stars but no AC was a letdown for us as the apartment got extremely hot. Glad we didn't stay in July! Great location close to lots of amenities.

It’s like an Airbnb but they’re not with Airbnb. Unit is modern and clean. Only thing I didn’t like was there were too many rules posted in the unit and is very repetitive. They already had a multitude of rules laid out for when you book the place, then they will send you a message re: “mandatory unit policies”. It’s honestly annoying when you’ve already read all these then coming to your unit, you’ll see all these instructions and signs, and red colors on the wall and kitchen counter when all you want to do is rest. Also, the only stay that asks you take out your trash and throw it in a garage area that is about 30 steps away from the unit. I really wish I stayed in an Airbnb or hotel instead since the price is the same. Not to mention the 500CAD deposit they require and was sent back after 7 days. Who takes 500CAD for a deposit. Even hotels would only take CAD250 max. In all honesty, the unit was great. Modern and clean and we were able to rest. But I would not book again to skip all the hassle.

The place was really perfect for my needs. Is a fully set up apartment and very clean. The one disappointing thing about it was I rented it for 3 weeks but was called back to work a week early so only needed it for 2 weeks. I asked for a credit for the week as I would be returning the following month. There was no negotiation and no refund or credit was given. I would have rented it consistently but due to this policy I won’t be returning.
