I came to Harvard Square with my son for volleyball camp at Harvard University. I was looking for something within walking distance to the school with easy access to shopping and dining and this hotel was perfect! We were within minutes of casual to find dining restaurants, St Pauls catholic church, JFK memorial park and Harvard University. I've read others reviews but gave them a chance despite a few negative reviews. I found this hotel to have an amazing staff that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and serviced daily. It was ao nice to come back from a long day of sightseeing and/or sports to a clean room with fresh linens. If you are ever in the Boston-Harvard Square area, I suggest staying at Harvard Square Hotel. Don't forget to eat at the Hourly Oyster Bar - the lobster rolls, Lobster Mac and cheese, oysters and cornbread were AMAZING!

The location was convenient. Things I noticed was the level of cleanliness in the front enter could have been better. Glass doors looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Also coffee station also appeared it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. In our room our fridge did not appear to be working properly. The shower did not have a door so water escaped.
