Getting Around:

Reaching the Deluxe Birdhouse is simple and scenic. The cabin is accessed via a well-maintained gravel road, and while it feels remote and tucked away, no AWD is required. Your private parking area sits right at the start of the 30-ft bridge that leads into the cabin.



Once you’re settled in, most guests choose to drive to nearby trailheads and attractions. You’ll be:

• 3–5 minutes from Red Byrd Arch

• About 1 mile from Rock Bridge / Creation Falls

• 25 minutes from Natural Bridge State Park, Miguel’s Pizza, and Daniel Boone Coffee



There is no public transportation or rideshare service in this rural area, so a personal vehicle is necessary for exploring the Gorge.



The roads are peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by forest—making every drive part of the experience.



Other Things to Note:

•A starter supply is provided for essentials including paper goods, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, and sponge. Additional supplies are the responsibility of the guest.

•Please ensure a valid phone number is included with your reservation, as all arrival details will be sent via text.

•Firewood is available for purchase locally at Ace Hardware; we recommend stopping by on your way in.

•Propane is provided for the grill.

•City water is safe for drinking.

•This cabin is designed exclusively for two adults. No pets or children are permitted.

•It is possible that a few local dogs may greet you. Please be unalarmed, as they have been friendly with all previous guests. There is a mesh retractable gate to the walkway to prevent these visitors from coming to the door.

•Smoking of any kind is not allowed inside the cabin.

•An exterior camera is located on the front corner of the home facing the walkway to the parking area.

•For those who enjoy hiking, Red Byrd Arch and Rock Bridge/Creation Falls trailheads are just minutes away!
