Recently my husband and I stayed at this property (April 2025). We decided to upgrade to a 2-story rooftop terrace suite. Upon arrival we headed up to the rooftop to check out the plunge pool. Besides the empty coke bottle that was left at the side of the pool, we immediately noticed that the water in the pool looked stagnant. We tried turning the pool on. The way it works is once on, there are 2 pipes that gush out water continuously in order to give a waterfall effect. this did not occur. Instead of gushing water, it was a dribble at best. We immediately informed maintenance and the front desk who advised someone would look at it the next morning. The next day we enjoyed our day by the beach and went back to the room in the afternoon to enjoy our rooftop pool. It was sill not working! We called maintenance again and were advised someone would be sent right away. We waited in our room for 3 hours, no one showed up. The next morning we went to the front desk and spoke with a manager who advised he would personally see to it. After breakfast we spoke with him again and he advised it was now working. That afternoon we went back to the room, it was not working. At that point management did have maintenance come to the room while we were there and they were able to fix it. Finally we thought we could enjoy what we paid for! The fix was very temporary, as the next day it did not work again. Basically we paid extra for a room we couldn't use. And we found a cockroach in our room!
