We truly enjoyed our vacation at the resort; however, we were bothered by persistent pressure from the membership staff. From the very first day, a representative approached us, trying to sell spa and beauty salon services—encouraging us to use our $200 resort credit. We politely explained that we weren’t interested and simply wanted to relax and enjoy our stay.
Despite our refusal, she continued to push other offers, including a dolphin swim experience. After we firmly declined, she abruptly led us to the elevator and walked away without showing us to our room. That felt quite rude and unprofessional, as it seemed her attitude changed only because we didn’t accept her offers.
The following day, we received another call urging us to use our resort credit, which we again declined. Eventually, another staff member offered us a $200 store credit in exchange for attending a "VIP breakfast"—clearly tied to a timeshare presentation. Although we initially agreed, I canceled the appointment the next day. Even after that, another representative approached us, and again, we declined. On our final attempt to enjoy breakfast at Toro, yet another staff member tried to engage us.
This persistent sales pressure was the only downside to an otherwise enjoyable resort experience.
Bottom line: I understand the resort makes money from memberships and timeshare sales—but once we clearly said "no" and showed no interest, they should have respectfully backed off. This persistent pressure was th
