Pools and beach bars were nice. There was shade in the main pool which was very nice for us. Drinks were made well. Spa was incredible. Staff were friendly and caring. Food was ok at best. À la carte service was slow and food was less than average for very long waits. Hallways were noisy in the mornings with cleaning carts running back and fourth. Overall we will not return but it was not terrible.

Room was spotless, entire resort was spotless! Staff spoke every single time we passed by, very friendly and courteous. The Zen Teppanyaki grill was amazing! Our grill master Richi cooked our food to perfection and was very entertaining. Our other wait staff at the grill (and the entire resort) were awesome as well, too many names to remember but I will try: Edwardo, Enricho, Armando (buffet), bartenders Hugo, Jujulianna (at the beach bar….who I promised my pair of fun sunglasses to if I can ever find out how to send them (the bar closed early and I never found her again….so sorry Julie!) We also loved the beautiful rooms and especially the double shower heads, amazing! Overall a great stay and would stay again. Only drawback was the reservation system…..nearly impossible to get more than one during our stay..I happened to have a fantastic contact in my Expedia rep Yale Coba, he was instrumental in securing reservations for my group and helped with booking our excursion as well, thank you again Yale!

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations, and we feel compelled to provide feedback. The quality of food at the specialty restaurants was far below what we anticipated. The dishes served were disappointing, and the drinks were watered down, which detracted from the dining experience and all inclusive package. Additionally, the staff seemed pushy and lacked effective communication among themselves, leading to repeated disturbances regarding the events we had booked. Our spa treatment was particularly unsatisfactory; instead of a relaxing session, we were asked to listen to a 90-minute lecture, which was not what we expected explained after I asked when I first book. Moreover, I was unable to arrive on the first night due to a flight delay caused by Mother Nature. Despite this, we were informed that no partial refund could be issued, and I plan to address this matter directly with Expedia. As well we observed that the fast food trucks and buffet offered better food options than the specialty restaurants. Higher club status guests expressed similar concerns, indicating that these issues are widespread. On a positive note, we appreciated the room upgrades feature provided during the storm, which was extremely helpful. The cleaning staff were great. The beach was beautiful—although visitors should be mindful of seaweed. Check-in staff were awesome Overall on the value for money paid, we would rate our experience 3/5 stars.

Didn’t like trying to be upsold with a ninety minute timeshare as soon as we checked in. Not truly an adult only facility. Kids everywhere even in the hideaway adult only area. Buffet was chaos. Two many people not enough food. No gluten free options as well. Victor Garcia the concierge from Expedia was amazing. Covered up the shortfalls of the cleaning staff and restock of room. Hunters steakhouse and Zen teppanyaki were the two best restaurants. Would not recommended staying here. There are way better options out there, make sure to do your research.

Room was very nice and clean. Room service was wonderful as well. The staff were absolutely amazing kind and super helpful! The cooks are the only staff that did not appear to be happy. The specific Hideaway location is adults only, if you are looking to not have any children around this is not the location for you. The dining options are not great but definitely not what my group and I expected for the cost. No taxis can pick you up from the resort area which makes planned time off the resort expensive to coordinate

Room cleanliness was a 7.5/10. It was clean; towels were changed daily and bed was made. Also floors were freshly mopped every other day. I found the faucet in the sink and shower were a little dirty, build up from hard water? The water in the showers smelled weird and so did the sink. I noticed my pillowcase wasn’t changed one day when I requested it was. Not a big deal just something small. Staff was almost always excellent. Kind, nice, welcoming and always said good morning or hello which was pleasant. I didn’t find the bed all that comfortable but I was so tired it didn’t matter most nights. I don’t LOVE the drinks. The margaritas didn’t taste like the real deal because everything used that sugary mix. Aperol spritz were goo, prosecco was good, beer was amazing and refreshing. Air conditioning and fans were great but loud. If you like white noise this works well. Pools were great so we’re hot tubs. Food I would need a write a completely separate review. Dining at the Dorado (hideaway seafood spot) alone is worth having access to the adults only! Buffet was good if you knew what to get, fresh pizza from the oven, tacos, stir fry, I found a fly in my lettuce twice. What are you gonna do. Fruit was great and fresh and LOTS of variety. I really like the Mexican spots for dinner and even GRAZIE was good my steak was honestly cooked better then at the steakhouse. Beach was beautiful. Water was beautiful. I spent wayyy more time I did there than at the pool!
