We loved the size of the hotel (not too big, but had everything one would need), the hotel quality (beautiful decor, two amazing pools, it's own private beach with beach beds), and the service (Mateo and Hugo were exceptional). We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay on Isla Mujeres.

Liked the resort size, small. Very pretty and unique wood architecture. Some staff like Mateo were awesome but some staff were unfriendly and overall resort understaffed. Food was good but limited menu. Beach has rocks and seagrass, pretty but not swimmable.

Nice resort on Isla Mujeres. Staff was friendly and food/drinks were good. After 7 days, menu became repetitive - wish there were daily specials for different options. Beach area was smaller than expected and there were large mounds of sand and cement blocks in water which were not always obvious based on the tide. I'm sure they help with conservation, but they could have been placed further away from the shore. Nice rooftop pool. Amazing sunsets!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at hotel Beló. The food at the restaurant was really good but they needed more variety. Especially needing more vegetarian / gluten free options / different options for dietary restrictions. We found that some of the servers didn’t really want to ask kitchen to make accommodations. It would be nice if the menu had more options and / or different menus daily since there’s only one restaurant. Mateo was amazing and was very helpful with whatever we needed. He went above and beyond and offered us whatever he could to make our stay better. We loved our servers Hugo, Jorge, Alberto and Samuel they were the sweetest and so enthusiastic and made our dining experiences amazing. The drinks were also really good and the bartenders were great. The rooms were beautiful and housekeeping kept everything spotless and had a great attention to detail. One thing about our room was that it didn’t have any hot / warm water. We talked to the front desk and they sent someone up to fix it but the issue was never resolved. A couple other guests we talked to had the same issue but it was resolved for them so I’m not sure what it was with our room. Other than that the hotel was beautiful and very clean and modern with beautiful views. It was very relaxing and the perfect place to unwind. The gym was also great with very new and updated equipment and a beautiful view.

I have NEVER enjoyed a place more than I do Hotel Belo! I have extended my stay two times already!! Matteo! Hugo! Alberto and everyone here is so friendly and classy. I believe I've had just about every item on the menu and cannot find one thing to complain about . I will coming back over and over❤️
