Won’t stay again. Basically had to beg for them to clean the room and once they finally did on day 3 they accused us of having marijuana In the room. Which was completely false. Food was really lacking in taste. Building was super outdated. The restrooms by the pool and hotel bar never had soap or paper towels and always smelled horrible. Lobby bar closed at 1am but bartenders closed at 12 every night. They often had an attitude and appeared unhappy to be working there. The beach is full of seaweed and they do a poor job of cleaning it up. Because of the location it’s extremely windy all the time and they don’t allow use of the umbrellas by the pool.. so if you’re looking to hang out at the pool you will burn. Pool closes at 8pm so no hanging out late! The DJ Rambo is great and servers Enrique, Brian, Felipe, and Antonio were amazing.

Would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a smaller resort, where everything is in proximity. Excellent service, courteous staff. Food was delicious as were a he drinks!

We stayed 4 nights and we were impressed from check in to check out. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Room was clean and bright. Fun at the pool with trivia and contests during the day. Felipe the pool bartender was amazing. Always smiling and treated us like family. Almar and Hakka Restaurants service and food were impeccable. El Botanero pool side restaurant's tacos were the best. Sheila the server at El Bonanero was so sweet, friendly, and attentive. Enrique at the lobby bar was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Only downside was the resort allowing guests to reserve pool chairs with towels even though it is clearly stated on the Oleo app that it is not allowed. Chairs were all taken every morning by 8 am even though no one was in the pool. Also building 3 only had 1 working elevator which was inconvenient. But overall our experience was top notch.

Not the best place for solo travelers. I observed that they did not provide the same quality of service and attentiveness to people alone as they did people in groups. A lot of wear and tear to the overall property. No on site activities like other resorts. On a positive note, the views were amazing.

OLEO is incredible! Amazing food for an all-inclusive, kind and thoughtful staff, relaxing vibes, a gorgeous direct access beach, and amazing drinks. Truly the full package for an all-inclusive. If you prefer a relaxing vacation over a party, this is the perfect place.

The good....Location. Solid staff. Diverse foods to eat. Great Location. Quiet overall. The not so good. Our refrigerator never worked. We called maintenance on our first night to complain. It took three attempts to get someone to our room to repair. I kept getting told by different statf it would be taken care of but it took 45 minutes 2 phone calls and having to walk to the front desk. Different person each time. No apology. Finally someone came to get it going which he did but it stopped working by morning. We ate at both resort restaurants. At Hakka there was a table of 10-12 to no one could hear each other with all the racket. My wife's meal came 15 minutes before mine so we ended up leaving and eventually someone left my meal in our room. We ate elsewhere after that fiasco. Again. no apologies. This place has the potential to be special but it will need better management and a minor facelift. .

Staff friendly. Safe, convenient and delightful. Beach was excellent- they hired a cleaning service to scoop the seaweed. White, soft sand, shells, awesome wave swimming and blue upon blue upon blue water. Excellent life guards. Can walk for miles (literally). Amazing sunrises. Lattes and service at coffee bar were amazing. Pool bar service was also stellar. Food at buffets were fresh and beautiful. We enjoyed that there were not a lot of children there. Not a good pool for kids and teachers want to get away from kids for a week. I would return.
