The place is beautiful, the beach was amazing even with the sargassum. The staff was very attentive and service was excellent. Food was great, the drinks were so so, some bartenders make them good and strong and others make them meh. We liked that if we wanted we can go and use the facilities of the Riu next door. Definitely we will stay here next time we travel to Cancun.

I liked the pool parties and events. I didn't like that you can't have visitors from the other Riu resorts. I came from Palace Peninsula to visit a new friend at Caribe and one of the bartenders was rude. Other than that, I would have gave it a 5star.

The beach was dirty full of seaweed. Room out dated. Tv super small 32”. Bed size is full size, too small for a couple. Not USB ports at all. A/C was weak, setup at 18 degrees Celsius and the room was hot. The shower water pressure was amazing. There’s nothing to entertain a teenager, my son was boarded to death. Swimming pools were excellent. Out side transportation was great. There’s no place in the hotel to buy essential.

Been there 11times. Love the people!! I brought family and friendly(that’s friends who are family) the resort tried to charge one room for stain on sheets. Food stain very small. How it was handled was incorrect, locki g guest out of room 2 times in 7 day stay . Asst manager did right but front desk needs some training. Advice. Don’t eat on bed!

There is so much to offer at the RIU Palace Peninsula. The food is delicious, and there are so many options. My family and I enjoyed the buffet most; the Krystal restaurant was excellent. The service is exceptional and the drinks are great. The beach area is so lovely and relaxing. I would highly recommend staying here.

The smallest attention to details from housekeeping with the towel animals & rose petals to room service singing Happy Birthday to my wife. Everything was nice & friendly. The view of 907 with the full moon was amazing. A lot to do there. Food was good the restaurant choices was phenomenal.
