This hotel does not live up in any way to the Waldorf brand. From the moment you arrive it’s slow. We waited and waited in the lobby for someone to come check us in. Then everything else was a wait. The service at the pool was so so very slow, and often the orders would come out incorrectly. I will say they make a good margarita. We would ask and ask and people would say “just one moment”, and then nothing would come. It would take an hour plus for a side of sauce requested to arrive. The food itself was shockingly mediocre for the cost. You’re much better off going to an all inclusive and getting this kind of food than spending on it here. The best thing at the resort was the housekeeping- I thought thay it was all very clean and our room was perfectly cleaned, and the red velvet churros. Otherwise I would not recommend this property for those looking for a typical Waldorf/Ritz experience.

One of the staff members was unprofessional and wrongly charged us and we had to try to have it corrected twice but ultimately it was the being taken advantage of that was upsetting, there is virtually no beach which we wish we were aware of ahead of time and wouldn’t have stayed, and the food at the first restaurant was sub par. Other than that it was ok. Will not be staying here again.

The resort is lovely, rooms are spacious and beautiful and beds very comfortable. The only place this resort needs to improve, is service at the restaurants - it is just too slow - this was at every restaurant, which is disappointing as the food is top notch.
