We had an absolutely incredible stay here! The cabin was beautiful and so well equipped with anything you could possibly need! The kitchen was fully stocked, and there was a ton of seating and areas for us to all hang out both as a group and separately. We were so impressed that the space truly was big enough for a larger group — several areas of the cabin had enough space for all of us to gather together! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the road up to the cabin is not as treacherous as I’m typically used to with such a beautiful view. The hosts were extremely communicative. We loved that a grocery store is only 10 minutes away, yet it still feels very remote. We already can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed every moment in this beautiful home, with its breathtaking views and spacious interior. My teen daughter called it "peak" (as in the very best) and joked we were staying in the house from the Twilight movie, with its gorgeous mountain views. We were a family from ages 11-76, and everyone was comfortable and happy. The master bedroom is on the first floor, along with two other bedrooms and the game room, and anyone staying on that floor needs to go up stairs to get to the main kitchen/living/dining area -- just something to consider if you have older adults with mobility issues, but they were very comfortable in the bedrooms on that main level (and they could access the driveway from either level). There was plenty of space to socialize and lots to do, from the theater room to the game room with a pool table and foosball table to just sitting on the deck and taking in the scenery. The hosts were very communicative and kind — I really appreciated their proactive messages ahead of arrival and responsiveness. Every detail of this house was so well thought out. It is a wonderful place to make memories with your family. 10/10, highly recommend.

Excellent Experience

We loved our stay in this cabin! The views were breathtaking and they had the most well stocked kitchen I have ever experienced with a short term vacation rental. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Mountain Escape!

Great stay with beautiful mountain views. Comfortable places in the house to gather and chat while looking at the stars and the mountains. We loved our stay! Nice comfortable beds, large bedrooms. Plenty of room for the kids to enjoy themselves, the movie theater room was fun for them. Well appointed kitchen. Clean, and chill spot for friends/family to catch up. WIFI was fast, cellular not really in play so prepare to unwind!

Amazing Vista and thoughtful hosts

We absolutely loved this property and Amanda was extremely helpful as we navigated our stay in the area. We have visited the mountains many times but have never had a view like that. It was breathtaking. The place was very clean, well stocked, and had many private spaces to take a peaceful moment to yourself. We will certainly book this space again for our next group event.

Spectacular!

Our family was in town for a wedding and the house was perfect for us! The views are breathtaking and the house has anything you could possibly need. We had 9 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of room for everyone. Amanda was very responsive with any questions. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stay again!

Beautiful, Comfortable stay!

The property is absolutely beautiful - steep driveway on the way up but so worth it for that view! The property is very clean and well-kept and was so spacious. Even better than the photos depicted. Communication was also great! Fast responses & very thorough. Stayed over the weekend for a girls trip to Asheville and location was about 20-30 minutes from anywhere we were headed - close but still far enough away to feel peaceful. 12/10 would recommend to others :)

Grandpa's Wish

I have chosen the title "Grandpa's Wish because he loves the mountains and very much wanted to vacation there. Since he is 95 yrs old, it was important that he had a good view since hiking etc., was out of the question. This was the perfect house and the perfect setting for our family gathering. The view of the mountains was just as described - loved watching the sunrise and the morning mist rise off the mountains. House was definitely well maintained and well furnished. Lots of room to spread out, play games or just relax and watch a movie. Communication with the host was exceptional. Though there was seldom a need to communicate with Amanda, she consistently responded promptly. Having rented VRBO homes in the past, I have never experienced such a responsive host. Hope we have the opportunity to return!

Long weekend getaway

We had 2 families (4 adults, 2 teens and 2 tweens) for a long weekend. We had planned outdoor activities but wanted a house that would have enough room to spread out if the weather did not cooperate. The movie room was a big part of the backup plan and it did not disappoint. Master bedroom is huge and has a great view. The other bedrooms are small in comparison but we did not spend much time in them. Both indoors and out, there was plenty of room to socialize, play games and enjoy the view. We fired up the charcoal grill for dinner and cooked s'mores on the firepit. House was spotless and room for us to park 3 cars without blocking anyone. The windows let in plenty of light and it could get toasty in the mornings until we turned on the fans. I'd agree it's convenient to Asheville (30 minutes) and there's a grocery store, restaurants and shops in Canton about 10 minutes away. Spent some time in Waynesville, rafted in Marshall (50 minutes) and went hiking in DuPont Park (55 minutes). So it's close enough you don't feel like you're spending all day in the car. Great stay and Amanda was quick to respond to questions. Check out was easy, just clean up, put trash in the garage and go.
