There is a unique garden area with a loop trail behind the hotel that is interesting and unexpected. Good hotel next to airport for a quick overnight before catching another flight the next morning. Good breakfast and reasonably priced restaurant with good food..

I travel to Cape Town often, and always stay at Hotel Verde on layover nights coming into town with a safari flight next morning, and sometimes instead of driving on the N2 after a late flight arrival. The hotel is always clean, welcoming, and convenient -- especially having the round trip airport shuttle. For all the above reasons, I consider the Hotel Verde one of the best value layover hotels in Cape Town. I will be returning, often!

It's always convenient to stay here when coming into the airport. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and it's great having a shuttle from the airport. The only issue I had was the temp of the room. They want you to keep it where it is, so it's difficult to change the temperature. All in all, very helpful staff and very clean hotel!
