Las habitaciones impecables, el personal de la recepción increíblemente amables, al igual que el personal del desayuno excepto la señorita que recibe a los huéspedes en el desayuno la cual fue pedante. El desayuno muy variado. El hotel es muy tranquilo sin ruido. Durante mi estancia no habían niños, las vistas muy hermosas de la playa. El área de la piscina es linda pero le faltan algunas cerámicas a la misma, deberían considerar la restauración. Volvería a quedarme aquí

Nice hotel in La Guaira. We had ocean view, but there is no direct access to the beach. The rooms are nice, very comfortable. The food was good as well. Just 20 minutes from Caracas.

The restaurant prices are extortionate but I think it’s a feature of Venezuela hotels. If there’s anything you can do for your bookings that would be a huge benefit to your customers and in the long term the hotel would benefit from more business

Beautiful hotel, trouble with shuttle

Gorgeous place, big room, good bed, nice breakfast. Very disappointing shuttle service from the airport. Upon arriving at CCS I called the hotel for the shuttle, and was told that it wasn't included with my room. They said I needed to pay $25 USD. I was forced to take a taxi, but it was next-to-impossible to find cash. It cost 60,000 Bolivares and should normally only cost 5,000. (It's only about 7 minutes!) When I finally got to the hotel I showed them the reservation where it specifically says that the shuttle is included. They agreed to take me to the airport the next day, but then I was told I could only be transported at 11:00, 12:00, or 13:00. The area is dangerous. There is a nice bakery about a block away but only go there during the day. Don't carry any valuables with you.

The Hotel is not clear with the offers, they include or not the breakfast any time they want. I have to wait every morning for them to decide if they want to include my breakfast or not. I think they play with that to extra charges $$$ crazy. They need to learn more about hospitality.

Friendly staff

Hotel staff was very nice and accomodating. We needed an extra bed and after they told us they didn’t have any left, they got us one. Hotel is like any Marriott anywhere in the world, just friendlier people

It is a really nice hotel, excellent views of the beach (even from some rooms), the only thing is that there's only one restaurant so is the same menu all day. The down side while I was staying, at the moment of checkout there was only one person on the reception so we had to wait to be attended, the person was really nice and polite during the checkout, however, if someone is in a hurry they will need to wait up to 20min. Otherwise the staying was excellent!

Nice but not to normal Marriott standards

Comparing with other Marriott hotels internationally however I would only give it 4 stars. The conditions in Venezuela are not good. The hotel localtion from a security point of view as good. Hotel staff were as helpful as they could be. Remember not all staff will speak or understand English however they have one person at the front desk who understands and speaks english very well.Do bare in mind if visiting Venezuela you cannot use dollars in the hotels for food or anything. The same generally applies in restaurants. The rates asked are high compare with hotels in Caracas itself. It is used by European airlines as is close to the airport and safe. Very few overseas people staying there as not many travel these days to Venezuela. The pool is very nice and the sea view is execelent.
