The hotel is a tale of two halves with their classic room, or certainly the one we were initially allocated were dated, very old, scratched furniture, mouldy shower curtain and a strong musty smell. We complained about this in reception and were moved to a lovely superior room, which was in the part of the re-decorated area of the hotel. I would be mindful of this when booking a room again. My issue is, if the hotel wasn't full then why allcoate us that below par room in the first place? Superior room was very comfortable and staff were friendly, would stay again but I'd be mindful which room to book in future.

Service was consistently good. Lovely bar. Great music. Room was a bit tired and bare. Only one chair in room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast had lots of choice but cooked Welsh breakfast wasn’t quite as good as on last visit. We would definitely stay again.
