This hotel is central to every place you might want to explore in the city! It’s a 20 minute walk to the San Felipe Castle and most other places are 10 minutes away. We found excellent dining all around. The staff is wonderful and the daily included breakfast is excellent with plenty of options.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff is wonderful: Elizabeth, Hector, Gina, pool bartender(did not get his name). Everyone was knowledgeable, very friendly and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay at Bastión Luxury Hotel! The property is beautiful and perfectly located within walking distance to everything in the walled city. Our daughter especially loved the pool area, and the rooftop was a highlight for the whole family. A special thank you to Jhordan at the concierge desk—he did an excellent job helping us book memorable activities. We’d definitely stay here again!

Bastion Hotel review

The room was very humid. It also had a smell. They gave us a tiny dehumidifier that barely worked. Location was excellent and breakfast was excellent. In all i would say it was more like a 3.5 star hotel.

In addition to the beauty of the building and pool deck, the hotel staff is fantastic. Caesar and Jorge really stood out and went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice time at the pool and we were able to get a great tour guide for a safe and educational (and fun!) experience touring around the city's many amazing sites.
