Let me start by saying I have a current gripe with the hotel about a full or partial refund. (Too far from work and had to change- so not hotels fault)
Reception said it shouldn’t be a problem - but apparently it was. I lost 1100€ and the hotel is refusing to answer my emails and phone calls.
Having said that:
•It’s NOT 5 star.
•The TV is about as small as they can get away with.
•Towels in the bathroom are about the same size as the TV.
•Limited menu
•If you want some ice for your room be prepared to wait for it.
More what you’d expect at a 3 star hotel to be honest.
The hotel is handy if you’re on an early flight or working very locally, but realistically you’ll get a bigger “Bang for the Buck” getting a hotel in town which for the same quality is upto 50€ cheaper and using the local Taxi App, which means you won’t get ripped off. (The centre of town to the airport is 22€)
Any shops/restaurants in the area charge a premium, because you have no other option.
I’m not condemning the hotel at all. I’m just saying it as I see it.
The reception staff were professional and caring.
I wonder if the hotel will reply to this?. If they do it’ll be the first time I’ve heard from them!
