The accommodation was fine but a little difficult to find as there is no front door to this property and it has to be accessed via a short alley way and up a flight of stairs. John the owner was pleasant and available at all times. The neighbourhood is dirty and it felt like it situated in an unsafe area and unsavoury area.

Catania City break.

The property was well located 5 minutes from the cathedral. Good location for public transport and easy walking distance of tourist attractions. Quiet and on the shaded side of the street. It suited our needs. Would have benefitted from larger cups for tea or long coffee.

Incredible place, incredible host!

The apartment wasn't really my first choice. I had considered other places even closer to Plaza Duomo, but I'm so glad I decided on this! The place is super clean, beeline 3 minute walk to Plaza Duomo, and basically within walking distance to almost all the places of interest in Catania, which was great because we were travelling with kids aged 5 and 7. I saw some if the properties we considered, there were so many restaurants just by their entrances, we would not have been able to sleep. There are lots of eateries, shops around, as well as tourist information points for booking packages . Giovanni was also such a great host, welcomed us with a full pantry, we had champagne, fresh pastries, loads of milk, marmalade, pasta, you name it! And he was always available to recommend places of interest and things to do that only locals would know. Please stay here, whatever your reason coming to Catania may be. You will not regret it.

Wonderful stay

The apartment is clean and has anything you’ll need. The location is central to everything Catania has to offer. The property manager was prompt and available to answer any and all questions. The only negative was not enough towels available for our 8 day stay. I will hopefully be back next year.
