Great location in the Allegheny Mountains. 30 mi from 7 Springs. Recently updated with modern and rustic accents, The Lucky 7 is nestled between Indian Lake and the beautifully scenic Northwinds Golf Course. Sip your morning coffee while taking in mountain views, then walk or drive .6 miles down to your own dock space to swim, fish, or simply enjoy your favorite cold beverage on the gorgeous Indian Lake. Cap off your day with dinner and drinks at the Lodge, which is a short .2 mile walk from the chalet.

Penn Get-away

We visited the Flight 93 Memorial and needed an overnight stay. This place was perfect. There were 3 of us so plenty of beds and 2 baths. The one bathroom and kitchen appear to be recently updated. Very nice. Would suggest having the porch light on for us late night arrivers especially in the fall when it gets dark quicker. Everything else great.

Treehouse feel in the loft

Extended Memorial Day Weekend with teen son and two chihuahuas. We visited primarily to see historic and family sites in the Schellsburg/New Paris/Bedford areas. Also visited Somerset and Laurel Hill State Park as well as Shawnee State Park. Nice location on the golf course; plenty of space; well-stocked kitchen and a Dollar store down the road with groceries. Wasn't clear on what community amenities we were allowed to use and what the community rules were besides quiet hours--rental guidance simply said go ask at the marina. Guests shouldn't have to do that. Steep and narrow stairs. Dirty carpet and furniture. Exterior needs work. Lattice or other privacy barriers would be better on the lower patio. Large living area windows need to be cleaned or replaced. Lock on upstairs bathroom still doesn't work (has been reported by other reviewers).

Very Nice Chalet

The chalet was very nicely decorated. It had lots of room. It was very clean. It was very well-stocked with towels, pillows, dishes, laundry supplies, dish soap, etc. The bed was comfortable. The towels are good quality. The cell phone service (we have Verizon) was excellent. The wi-fi was also good. It was very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed our time there.

Family wedding accommodations

We booked the Lucky 7 chalet for our family to be together while we attended a wedding weekend at The Lodge. It was perfect! Peaceful. Private rooms for each of our little families. The family that scored the large loft bedroom in as super stoked… king bed, junior bed, giant Jenga and Connect Four! Lots of other classic games for quiet time. Our room had a nursery attached. Kitchen was well-equipped. Two baths were just enough for our busy weekend. Just a short walk to the Lodge too!

Wonderful

Loved the location next to the golf course. Hike to the dock was a bit tough so drove most of the time. Hard to rent a boat so bring your own! The host was always checking to be sure accommodations were in order. Had a few family members visit during my stay and they also loved the property 👍

Chalet #7 OK

Chalet looked unkept at door entrance as far as weeds and contimued that appearance inside. House was musty on lower level where the two bedrooms were. Could benefit with dehumidifier. Carpet stained . Silverware holder, my husband removed silverware and cleaned the holder and emptied collection of crumbs. Pots and pans appeared thrown in cupboard in total disarray. Large pan needed cleaned before cooking along with needing replaced or thrown out. Slept upstairs in loft due to musty beds downstairs. Bed and furniture comfortable. Patio outback nice after cleaned all chairs and table. Enjoyed the area. Golf course nice and walke dog early and late there. !Appreciated washer and dryer and house supplied well.We have been on a road trip this summer and this place was our only disappointment regarding our VRBO stays.

Great camp

We really enjoyed our stay! The owners clearly put in a lot of work in updating the property. We would suggest doing the windows next. We had a variety of weather while we stayed, including cool evenings, breezy warm days, and rain. All of which would have been nice to have the windows open. Only one window opened. The screens in all of the doors were broken or had holes. We will certainly be back to enjoy the hidden gem of Indian Lake.:)

Mountain Ridge trip

This place is a little dated but very nice, spacious and very clean. And only a couple three miles from trails. Has all the necessities to make you feel like you're at home. Beautiful view of hole one on the golf course.
