What an amazing treat! We wanted a place halfway between Paris and La Roche Posay, our destination and I found Chandon. Who knew what an amazing place this was. The Chateau Chandon is breathtaking and this hotel, adjacent and a short walk over, was fantastic! I highly recommend.

I travel a lot! This was by far the best hotel I have ever experienced. I was honestly blown away from the minute I arrived until I walked out the door. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL!! Lovely hotel and extremely convenient being right next to Chateau Chambord. Loved having the entire place to ourselves after all the tourists left in the evening. The restaurant is also very good and highly recommended.

This is an incredible location with stunning views of the Chateau! The personnel were incredibly welcoming and very friendly. In particular, Mathis went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied. He even took our bags and gave us a private tour! We had an amazing time in this absolutely gorgeous hotel. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with lots of options. It was so easy to park. The Chateau is only a few minutes walking from the hotel. My only disappointment was that we didn’t have enough time to bike or row a boat. I can’t wait to go back and take advantage of these options.

Absolutely awful experience

Booked a 2 night stay 1st-3rd May 2025. Upon arrival went for a drink in the bar. The bar was rammed, there was nowhere to sit and a big queue at the bar. Despite this the hotel was letting more and more people in, who weren't even staying at the hotel. By 1 pm the bar had run out of food. Place was filthy, uncollected glasses & plates on tables, cigarette butt ends in plant pots, toilets were a disgrace. This is a Small Luxury Hotel of the world, but in our experience it is anything but. Ended up only staying for 1 night because it was so awful. Complained to the General Manager who agreed to refund us for the second night. Just need someone from Hotels.com to contact me about this as there are no contact details anywhere on the website. The hotel cannot refund me directly as the booking was via a third party ie. Hotels.com

Really nice hotel, high quality restaurant. Staff were friendly. Service was attentive. Atmosphere was nice, but maybe a little bit stuffy. My room was very small - this didn't matter because I was traveling alone, but if I come back with my partner I'll pay for a higher level room to get more space.

The staff was wonderful. They handled all our bags at check in and out.They parked and charged our electric car. The room ,although small, had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. The food was outstanding. It’s well worth the extra cost to receive such elegant accommodations.

It is a small but cosy Hotel. The restaurant had very good food. It is very convenient if you want to visit the Castle of Chambord, is next to it.
