The person on the 4th floor was walking loudly almost felt like she/he was stomping their feet... but I thinkthe hotel is made cheaply and I could also hear her/ he talk on phone so I turned the tv on..The stomping stopped after 11 pm when she or he finally went to bed..

Location was good, check-in was easy. We stayed because my wife was having surgery at 6 AM the following day. The walls were thin, and our 'neighbor' blasted his TV - preventing sleep. Called the front desk, and the unwelcomed noise stopped within 15 minutes. Overall, it was a great experience (and the surgery went well)!

I,had my daughter and son in law to visit me after my wife's passing, I, personally went to the hotel to ck accommodation, Carla ,showed me the room I, would expect to reserve, she mentioned to make reservations soon, I, did,the next day when my family arrived it was not the room I, thought they were to get,disappointed.

The customer service was very welcoming. They moved me to another room to satisfy my needs with no problem. The king suite was so clean. Smelled new and the bedding was comfy. Shopping is not far at all. Burlington is next door. I was able to purchase last minute supplies for the wedding. Everyone was exceptional. If anyone visits the Carolina’s residents and doesn’t fall in love with them, needs to go back home. Charlotte was beautiful, just like their people. Thank you for your hospitality and patience with my stressful situation. Love y’all!!

First of all the hotel is old and ugly with rooms overlooking a motel across the street. Then my key didn’t work for opening up the door. I think all doors have problems. My heater wouldn’t adjust to the temperature so I ended up turning it off all night and the window doesn’t open to get fresh air. I tried to call and report the problem to the front desk but the phone didn’t work either in the morning. I brought the problem to the general manager, Mr. James Childress and he said he’s gonna look into it and see if he can compensate me for the night I can’t believe Marriott put his name on this cheap one star hotel
