Private log cabin on 2 acres just 10 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Enjoy the easy 2-step entrance onto the covered front deck overlooking our spring fed (seasonal) pond. Take a short walk down to the pond for some fishing off the dock or sit by the waterfront fire pit. Other outdoor amenities included hot tub, open patio with fire pit, corn hole and large level greenspace adjacent to pond. Ample parking at the entrance to the cabin as well as further up the hill.
There are 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths in the main house. The Primary bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower on the main level. A second bedroom with a queen bed and daybed (2 twins) is also on the main level next to another full bath with a walk-in shower, and is equipped with a mini-split heating & cooling unit. The lower level also has the kitchen, dining, main living and laundry rooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, utensils, and spices. Additional Primary bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower is located just steps away from the cabin. "The house was so perfect for our family trip. The proximity to the city was great but we still felt the cabin vibe. In the house, everyone had their own room with bathroom and smart TVs ready to go. Everything was well stocked beyond our expectations which was amazing because we travelled with two small children and we always forget something. The pond was great for fishing and we took the canoe out. The hot tub and fire pits were perfect for relaxing. Communication was great as well when we had questions. Guests have access to the entire property, excluding the garage and storage shed. We do share a driveway with our next-door neighbor, and do ask that the driveway never be blocked. There is plenty of parking around the house. The pond is a shared family pond but please feel free to enjoy it as your own. Please note, the pond is spring fed and seasonal; in dry weather the water level will be low.
Quiet neighborhood nestled in at the foot of Elder Mountain. We kindly request guests observe quiet hours of 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Downtown Chattanooga and Lookout Mtn are just 10 minutes away, offering such attractions as the Chattanooga Aquarium, Creative Discovery Museum, Chattanooga Lookouts, Historic Bluff View Art District, Ruby Falls, Rock City, and the Incline Railway. an array of restaurants, and many other attractions.
