Welcome to River Run, a premier designer retreat nestled on 3.5 private acres directly on the Ellijay River. Your escape begins with a drive across a charming covered bridge into a secure, gated community, leading you to a cabin where modern elegance meets the soothing sounds of rushing water.



Whether you're roasting s'mores at the riverside stone fire pit, relaxing in the 7-person hot tub, or enjoying the whimsical "King Hanging Bed," River Run offers a sophisticated mountain-river experience just 15 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge.



Guest Access:

Guests have full, private access to the entire cabin and our 3.5 acres of riverfront grounds. Your stay begins at a charming covered bridge crossing the Ellijay River as you enter our private, gated community.



- Arrival & Parking: Gated Entry: Located in a secure, private HOA. You will receive a gate code and smart lock code prior to arrival.



- Parking: Our spacious gravel driveway comfortably accommodates 5–6 vehicles. Please note that street parking is strictly prohibited by the HOA.



- River Access: You have direct, private access to the riverbank from the backyard. The path is natural terrain, so we recommend bringing outdoor shoes or water shoes for the best experience.



The Neighborhood:

Goose Island Hide Away is a serene, private community known for its natural beauty and quiet atmosphere. You’ll be surrounded by towering trees and the constant, calming soundtrack of the Ellijay River.



Our neighbors are wonderful, long-time residents who value the peaceful nature of the area; we ask that you help us maintain this tranquility by observing quiet hours after 10 PM. The setting is perfect for families seeking a calm, upscale environment to reconnect.



Getting Around:

A vehicle is essential for getting the most out of your North Georgia vacation.



Road Conditions: Great news—the roads leading to the cabin are fully paved all the way to our gravel driveway! You do not need 4WD to reach River Run, making it accessible for all vehicle types year-round.



- Proximity: Toccoa River Tubing: 10 mins



- Downtown Blue Ridge & Mercier Orchards: 15 mins



- Downtown Ellijay: 30 mins



Other Things to Note:

Free Wifi



After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should never be set above 104 degrees for health reasons.



Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $20,000. However, to benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out. The damage waiver serves as a replacement for the conventional security deposit.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It was perfect for all 11 of us with room to spare. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed and the layout of the home allowed for us to have time together or branch off for our own space. We had great communication with the property owner, who was very accommodating for our family. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Stunning home! Awesome home and parcel layout for a group or family, fun activities inside and outside the house for kids & adults, and conveniently located between Ellijay & Blue Ridge. The neighborhood and surrounding area is nice for walking and outdoor activities. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and baking necessities to make whatever is needed. Some parts of the home show a bit of wear, but that almost makes it homier and more welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at River Run. It was the perfect home for our multi-generational family to gather for an early Thanksgiving. The house was beautiful and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax, play games, and watch TV. We especially loved the large hot tub, outdoor swings, fire pit, porch, fishing on the river, and the grounds for Bucket Golf. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We went for 4 days for fall break and it was wonderful! Had our 4 kids (ages 2,4,7,9) and there was so much to do just at the property. We fished, we had a fire and cooked s’mores, tons of games to play in the home, all the cooking supplies, went apple picking nearby and visited the Bigfoot museum. The home was lovely with amazing views and space to spread out. Would love to come back again!

River Run in Cherry Log,Ga is a little piece of heaven on earth. The cabin itself , and all the surrounding nature is exceptionally beautiful, cozy, and relaxing. The owners are incredibly nice, very helpful, and very informative. We had a wonderful time, and look forward to a return trip in the future. I have already told many friends about the cabin and will continue to recommend it. Booking was easy, and check in and out was simple as well. Definitely can't wait for another relaxing stay at River Run. Already missing the relaxing sounds of the river while sitting on the porch.

Best cabin we have stayed in

My husband and I wanted to celebrate his retirement and we found the PERFECT cabin to do so. Not only is the cabin beautiful and has everything you might need but the river in the backyard is amazing. Sitting by the fire pit or being in the hot tub hearing the sound of the river was so peaceful. We will definitely be back again.

Perfect getaway

We had an amazing time at River Run. The property and home is prettier in person.. the photos do not do it justice! Check in was a breeze and David was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect.. no steep mountain to drive up, lovely river sounds 24/7, 15 minute drive to Blue Ridge and 20 minute drive to Elijay. If you’re looking for a new place to stay River Run is perfect for a friends and family getaway!

Best Blue Ridge Getaway!!

This was my second stay at River Run and it did not disappoint... perfect for families with young kids OR a girls weekend -- this property is impeccable. The location on the river is unbeatable, the views and sounds instantly calm you, and the hosts have thought of everything needed for a great stay. Fantastic kitchen, comfy beds, all the things that count. Great communication too, which doesn't always happen with rental properties. They were proactive with all communication and we had zero issues. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property!!

This cabin was a dream. Beautiful views, stunning design, and very close to downtown Blue Ridge. My favorite spot was by the fire in the living room, with the sliding door opened, coffee or wine (depending on the time of day) in hand, and the river noise in the background. The owners were very responsive and made our stay so special. We will definitely be back!

Creekside Comfort

River Run was even more beautiful than the pictures! The creek was so peaceful and easily accessible for kids. Kitchen is well stocked and organized. Lots of space for multiple families. Fire pit, hot tub, creek , and game room let the kids entertained while the adults gathered on the porches. All the swings and seating made us all able to find a cozy spot! We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful and well organized cabin

We gathered our family to gather from across the states, one of my sons, still in the military, for a rare get together. When I was looking for a cabin, this one jumped out at me perfect gathering Place for a family with several children. This was one of the most well organized stay’s we’ve had and met all of our expectations. Honors communicated with us from start to finish making sure we have everything we needed. The gentle moving Creek was a perfect place to cool off or fish. The boys caught one 😃. Thank you for a special time.

Beautiful home on a beautiful lot

We went with our grown children and small grandchildren. The home is beautifully designed and very spacious but also cozy. There are lots of places to hang out and so many things to do that you really don’t want to leave the house. The river view is amazing. We loved the porch with the fireplace, the game room, the hot tub, the many swings, and having a fire by the river. The owners have thought of everything — a variety of coffee options and so many comfortable spots to enjoy it with enough throws for everyone to stay warm on those chilly mornings. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We definitely want to go back.

Relaxing vacation

Our families had an excellent vacation at the river run cabin. The place is very nice, the setting is amazing! Very comfortable and all the amenities needed. Location was great only 10 minutes to either blue ridge or ellijay. We would 100% recommend this property for vacationing.
