The heat radiator was banging loudly several times each two hours which woke us up during the night. Check out was at 11 am but the maid knocked on the door at 8:15 am waking us up early.

The Carleton has everything we require: nice, clean, roomy room. 2 good restaurants. A great bar. Free parking lot on site. Convenient to everything in Oak Park. Super nice staff!

This is a very old hotel and it seems not s whole lot has been done in many years to improve it. We only had housekeeping on one of 3 days; beds were uncomfortable and there was no comforter. We had to turn the heat up to be somewhat warm which made the air in the room dry. This hotel is in dire need of renovation
