Extremely disappointed with the River North location! We were overcharged for parking and made to feel as if it was our fault. The supervisor, Ivan was very rude when I called to dispute the charge. The room was not cleaned for two of the three nights, although we spoke to the front desk, as well as the manager in charge of housekeeping. Will not stay there again!

The manager and front desk lady were quite unfriendly and not trustworthy. They claimed that the room we got had already a shower facilitating handicap. Yet the shower had only one hand rail to assist entering the bath tub, no more safety hand rail on the wall inside the tub. We wanted to see another available room, it took 30 min before the manager Eddy permitted. But the ones he selected were not suitable. By chance of entering a non-selected room, which turned out to have safety hand rails inside bath tub, they proved themselves wrong.

Second time staying at this hotel and I really like it. As a guest I would not expect to pay $80 a night in parking and feel that should be lower.

Great staff. Tiffany is amazing with house keeping of you room. Need a fresh up or full cleaning she make sure its perfectly set for you. Breakfast is Great with made to order omelets. And dont for get the 2 free night caps they offer every night. Glass of wine or a ice cold beer to wash the day away. See you guys again soon.

I stayed at Embassy Suites Downriver, Chicago with my wife and two sons from Nov 27–30. After the first night, our pet sitter became ill and couldn’t care for our pets, creating a genuine emergency. I informed the front desk that we had to leave a day early, but the staff was dismissive and showed no sympathy. Despite notifying them promptly, Embassy Suites refused to refund the unused night. This experience showed a clear lack of care or flexibility from management. I would not recommend this location, especially for families or pet owners.
