The whole properties lights were out. So we could not stay there. We had to book another hotel at 10pm. Desk manager was courteous, and promised to refund when the lights came back. But it’s been 10days and no refunds issued. Very disappointed by not delivering on the promises.

The room itself is clean and it’s a basic room. However, the customer service is the problem here. They first put me in a disabled room for no reason and the AC was so loud I didn’t sleep for one minute. I begged them to switch me rooms and they finally did then when I would ask them to clean my room they would forget and never come, no one was ever at reception, and they were not attentive. The pool had no water and the gym is garbage. It’s also a holiday inn.

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The first room I was checked into reeked of tobacco, then I was moved to a second room. I asked 5 times from the moment I checked in at 4 pm to the last time at 11:30 pm for a rollout bed to be put into my room. The last time I asked, I was first told that there were no rollout beds available, then that housekeeping was closed so I couldn't have one in my room. After demanding a two bed room, I had to repack and move all of my things to a THIRD room on the first floor at midnight, only to find a lightbulb missing in a lamp, a mildew-smelling bathroom, and NO HOT WATER. The "complimentary breakfast" was also just prepackaged cereals and a bowl of half-rotted apples.

Where do I begin? First of all this is a Holiday Inn, not Grand Royal. No matter the owner should be ashamed of themselves for the condition this property is in. The room we were given had no soap, no remote control for the TV and the bathtub was gross. We were then offered to swap and we did. To an adequate room. But overall dirty carpets in whole place.

This property had a power outage during the time I wqs checking-in. They told me to write my phone number and name down so they could process a refund in the morning (mind tou this was around 1am). They have refused to issue me a refund citing I need to contact Expedia for the refund. I have contacted Expedia MULTIPLE times and they email me stating the Hotel does not answer their phone so Expedia cant confirm the hotel was without Power and I was turned away and not allowed to check-in for my stay. Expedia has failed to refund my over $100 bill for this hotel that I was turned away from at 1am due to the hotel having no power. Odd that when I call, the Hotel answers and tells me to call Expedia but they dont answer the phone when Expedia has me on hold attempting to confirm with the resort they refused to check me in for this stay!

Desk clerk was talking with someone else on his Bluetooth ear piece while he was trying to check me in. Room had tons of cracks and rips and defects. Dirty bathroom. TV had no signal.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had

Power was out when we arrived and the front desk worker had no idea what he was talking about and struggled to answer basic questions. Offered us nothing for the trouble. There also was no hot water the first two nights. We called and told them the first night that there was no hot water, front desk said they were getting it fixed. 10 hours later we call back because there is still no hot water and a different front desk worker made it seem as though the previous worker never called maintenance. A pool was advertised but it was completely empty. Courtyard is terribly overgrown with weeds. Housekeeping never stopped by to give us clean towels (we did not have our do not disturb sign hanging). Don’t waste your money.

The staff are amaizing mister Alex is very helpfull and a hard worker. The only thing that i was deceitful was the pool that was close for reparation and this was the reazon why i vhose the hotel cause the pool but anywere sais it was close
