Overnight stay after landing into Chicago. Huge complex with an array of different facilities, attentive staff, quick check in / check out, large room with toiletries and hairdryer. Complimentary airport shuttle bus was super helpful.

An overnight was booked in advance. TBH, the shuttle worked out great from the airport. Arrival at the hotel was clumsy. So dark and dated and everything was closed. No guests?! We had checked in online but the skeleton staff was cagey. With an empty hotel, we were given a 9th floor, darkish tower room that had a diagonal toilet and a room as small as a cruise ship discount room. We shrugged that off and went to dinner. We returned to our room where a paper flyer, under the door, indicated all water, toilets, etc. were turned off due to an emergency situation. We then left the O’Hare Hyatt hotel, staying elsewhere. A huge disappointment with this hotel and the Hyatt brand.

The property was nice, clean, and comfortable. They really need to improve their breakfast buffet menu. There weren't very many options, and unfortunately the scrambled eggs were runny. Also, there was an issue with one of the rooms I booked not being serviced by hotel staff. We had spent all day sightseeing in the city, only to come back to an unclean room. That was very disappointing. Also, when I informed them that the room did not receive complimentary bottled waters, they actually charged me from them.
