Apartment was very clean, well furnished and in an excellent location. The bedding and towels were very soft and the bed was extremely comfortable. Check in and entering/exiting the residence was easy. I absolutely loved this place and would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that it was noisy. Street work right outside the building started at 8:00 am and continued all day (this also made parking difficult) and the upstairs tenant’s alarm went off every morning at 7:00 and then a child would run back and forth all morning on my unit’s ceiling (ceiling is very low in loft bedroom). If you are an early riser this may not be an issue but I was using the apartment as a retreat and was unable to sleep in. Still worth staying here because the neighborhood is beautiful and so is the apartment.

Wonderful Lincoln Park location. Just a block to De Paul University and lots of restaurants, bars, shopping, and Catholic church for Easter Sunday. Fullerton L stop is only a few of blocks from this rental. Host was very responsive, check in and out were easy. Street parking is neighborhood permit only and host coordinated for me. Great Chicago stay!

Great spot in Lincoln Park right near Armitage shopping! Listing was just as expected. - light filled and comfortable. Definitely would stay again!!Just a few small notes for others - The stairs are a bit steep going to the bedroom, so just want people to know as that takes a minute to get used to, but not a problem for us in the long run. If youre tall, you might hit your head going down the stairs too.

This loft apartment was absolutely adorable. The location was amazing. We were 5 miles from everything we wanted to see. The place was clean and we felt very safe. My only two issues were the oven didn’t work, which may have been operator error, and there were only enough towels and washcloths for one person and there were two of us staying. Overall, we were extremely happy with this VRBO and would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing it with us!!

Great base to explore Lincoln Park

This apartment is perfectly located to check out DePaul, Oz Park, and the lake front area. Lots of restaurants and shopping around, and good access to the Red and Brown lines. Great neighborhood character - little kids on scooters, families going to church, DePaul kids walking by. Hosts answered questions and the stay was very comfit!

Best Stay in Lincoln Park

Communication, Check in, ability to get in touch w/host in real time, accommodations were all fantastic. Everything we could have wanted to use as a guest was provided, easy to find, new and clean. Real nice decor too.I hope more people chose to stay here! Super cute, Comfy, great walking score for Lincoln Park things to do. Flooded with natural light, and electric blinds for when you wanted dark. Great neighborhood too. Thank you so much to our Super Hosts! We will be back. :)

Easy train ride to downtown

My husband and I were in Chicago for a medical conference. While he traveled daily to McCormick West, I stayed behind and explored Old Town and Lincoln Park area. Coming from a rural small town, I was not at all afraid to walk alone in the neighborhood and found the shops/restaurants full of friendly staff. The house was ideally situated close to the L. It was a charming retreat with plenty of light filled space and a VERY comfortable bed. The shades on the large windows and the heat/air system were easy to use and worked perfectly. The bathroom is not on the same level as the bedroom which is a little difficult for nighttime potty breaks, but it was warm and roomy with great water pressure. Amy was a great host and responded quickly to me each time I reached out with questions. I would love to stay here again!

Look no further— this is it!

If you’re looking for a cozy, comfy place to live like a local while exploring the city, this is the place. Close to mass transit without the racket in a charming and historic neighborhood— easily walkable and safe. The place is bright and clean and has everything you need. Comfy couch and bed to relax after a long day exploring and to feel rested for the next. Amy was super responsive and helpful. We are already looking to a return trip and will be staying here again. Can’t speak highly enough about the place.

LOUD Neighbors & Hot

My son and I stayed in the loft while visiting my daughter. The property is in a great location and is as pictured. Unfortunately the full apartment is subdivided into two units ––You enter in one door off the street with 2 different individually locked doors inside leading to the loft and another apartment. Because the units are only divided by a thin wall you can hear everything next door. The girls in the apartment were SO loud during all times of the day and night. Saturday was the worse with day drinking for hours, then out for the night and back in at 4:30am. Contacted Amy and she reached out to ask them to keep the noise down. Sunday was better but again they came home at 12:30am waking me up with loud drunk voices and setting off their alarm. My only other issue is that the air conditioning is forced air from the bottom floor, which barely reaches the upstairs loft. HOT during the summer. I went back and looked at the previous reviews and didn't read anything about noise neighbors, Amy mentioned the girls were new renters so until they move out I wouldn't expect the loft being quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the neighborhood is quiet and nice for walks, so close to nice restaurants and shopping as well as close to the El train. The loft space is clean and nicely appointed, the owners were great! We would stay here again for sure!
