I like that the hotel is walking distance from navy pier. Love pool hours and amenities hours. Did not like when I would call to ask questions I was on hold for 35 mins. Had to hang up and redial still be put on hold.

Overall a positive stay

Overall a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom large. I enjoyed the outdoor pool. The only negative was being next to elevators and the noise from the hallway when people were getting back to their rooms. I would stay again but perhaps in a quieter room.

Extremely understaffed. From valet to front desk to housekeeping. Room was very hot and humid even with thermostat turned down to 65°. Lots of scratches on wood floors. Unfriendly staff at front desk and at bar. Bar area was hot and humid. Room was not made up until almost 5 pm. Towels just thrown on the sink instead of hung up. Valet when checking out was 45 minutes. Definitely not worth the amount they charge!

Property was nice and the room was spacious. Hard to find trash bins within the hotel. Parking fee is outrageous for no reason!!! Hotel restaurant overpriced and unimpressive. Breakfast was great but the steaks at dinner were mediocre.

This is a very nice hotel but they also have a THIEF!! Working for them as valet/concierge. We checked our bags to be put safely away while we saw the city and came back to get them..I got home to only notice one Kay's Jewelry box missing with 3item (amenstyh bracelet/necklace and a gold&purple snatch off tooth. Very unfortunate that my first experience at this hotel was beautiful up until realizing that's the only thing missing from my duffle bag. Staff should be screened better because I know for a fact who our bags were handed to and he is a THIEF!

Food from the restaurant smelled great, but we didn't eat there. One of the best locations in the city. Close to everything worth seeing. Beautiful outdoor area around the pool. Access to Pedway was a time saver! Great experience overall.

Lots of details to be addressed, great staff

I've stayed here a few times before and it seems things have slipped since then. Little things - like I didn't get a wakeup call, when I asked for a blanket I was told they don't do those in the summer but would try, what I got was stained, you have to specially request a fridge because the room only has a non-usable minibar, there weren't any bathmat towels so I was given an extra big towel to use. All of these are little but add up. It also would be lovely if there were chairs on the balconies. The staff were great, it just seems that for an expensive hotel in Chicago, these details should be taken care of. Finally, and perhaps it's because I booked here instead of their website, but the room I was given was much less nice than the ones I've been in in the past - it was like being in a much different and cheaper hotel.
