I had an amazing stay at the Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown! From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. The front desk staff was exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. A special shoutout to Lucas, the greeter at the front of the hotel. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always there to help. He assisted with our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival. If you ever stay here, make sure to ask for Lucas if you need anything—especially recommendations on where to go in Chicago. He definitely knew his stuff and gave us great suggestions! His hospitality truly stood out, and he deserves a raise for the level of service he provides. The hotel itself is in a perfect location, with stunning views and well-maintained rooms. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Love the Royal Sonesta!

Staff was nice and friendly. I had a beautiful room on the 31st floor with a great view. Front desk was quick if I needed something. The bar downstairs is also beautiful.

The Hotel was in prime location near many restaurant options with walkable distance but not many affordable rooms. AMAZING VIEWS. Had a hotel room on the 17 floor with view of nearby buildings. However room was nearby elevator and you could hear lots of conversations and people walking nearby . No ice machine in 17 floor and went up on 18th floor for ice but the machine was not working.
