Staff were excellent, I needed to mail some parcels for a business event which they held for over a week (arrived earlier than expected!) breakfast was also excellent. Rooms were noisy, not from outside but from the other rooms. Walls must be thin and could hear conversation and the TV from both sides.

The location of this hotel is outstanding. A quick four block walk to the train stations, including all the "L" lines. So close to State and Michigan Ave as well. The bed was completely comfortable and the room was well maintained. I am not a coffee drinker, but there is no coffee in the rooms itself, but they serve it complimentary in the lobby area each morning. The bar was great, with a pleasant bartender. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was perfect, bed was comfortable and well maintained. The bathroom was nice and shower had great water pressure. Overall the rom was great for what you pay for and I would definitely recommend and go back. Only criticism would be the walls are on the thin side

My husband and I stayed at The Allegro for a weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. It was my husband’s first time in Chicago and we could not have asked for a better stay. The location is perfect and the staff is amazing. We had a late flight after the 11am check-out time and the hotel let us check our bags for a few hours so we could fit in a little more exploration before heading home. We will definitely be visiting again!
