Welcome to A Cozy Chimney Rock Cottage, cozy red cottage on Main Street in Chimney Rock, NC. This charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath getaway features a rustic wood interior, full kitchen, and snug layout perfect for couples. 15 steps to shops, trails, and dining, then relax on the porch. Pet-friendly and full of mountain-town charm, it's the ideal spot for a romantic escape or peaceful stay in the heart of Chimney Rock. It’s one of only 2 properties offering a place to stay in the village!

The space
When you arrive at the home, please note the driveway is paved, but a little steep. All cars can get up the driveway, just be confident in gaining a little momentum at the bottom to get you up smoothly. There is enough room for 2-3 cars to park comfortably.

There are about 10 steps to get to the front door. Keys are in a lock box to the right of the door. You will walk into a cozy living room that connects to a spacious dining room with a table to fit 6 guests around. A slight ( watch your step ) step down into the fully stocked kitchen which has a full size refrigerator, oven, microwave, keurig coffee maker and a full size washer and dryer. Off from the kitchen is a large screened in porch for your enjoyment.

The two bedrooms sit side by side. One has a queen size bed, the other a full size bed. There is a full size pullout couch with extra linens either in the dining drawer or in the queen room closet. The bathroom with walk in shower, is conveniently located close to the bedrooms. There is a side door off of the full size bedroom that leads out to a rock patio and small fire pit.

We have a large backyard with lots of mature landscaping and privacy, yet only less than 15 steps from the very center of Main Street! Oh yeah- and the most awe inspiring view of Chimney Rock in the entire town!

Please note, although the fireplace shows on in the gallery pictures of this listing, it is not functional for the safety of our guests. Thank you for understanding! Feel free to use the outdoor fire pit ( please check for burn bans with local fire dept. before building the outdoor fire.) we do not provide firewood. However, Lured Marketplace in Lake Lure has bundles for sale.

Guest access
We have an owners closet in the queen bedroom and one in the dining room without guest access. However, there is a full size closet for guests along with a dresser in the queen room.
