The Space:

Fireplace: We have two! The upstairs fireplace is fed by wood pellets which are provided. The gas fireplace is downstairs to add extra heat to foosball games



Games: Foosball, Cornhole, Pool, Airhockey, Skiball, Ping pong, Karaoke, Football, Soccer; we supply it all. Looking for a specific game? Let us know and we may deliver it on-site to you for free.



Hot Tub: Sit back and relax in our oversized, 8 person, 500 gallon pool of peace. Be sure to bring a speaker to jam out to your favorite music.



Firepit: Kumbaya! S'mores with family and friends is always a good ending to a day. Our firepit is in the backyard on the edge of the woods and rolling hills



1st floor master with only 3 steps to enter the home. We even have a ramp, but you have to travel through 10ft of grass to get to it



Washer and dryer onsite. Gain detergent provided



Internet: High-speed Spectrum Internet



TV: 2 - 55 inch Smart TV's in each living room



Cooking: You'll find all the silverware, pots, pans and plates you need to pretend like you’re going to cook yourself dinner from scratch! Duel Keurig for K-cups and ground coffee



Towels: 15 luxury white towels and washcloths provided



Firewood: Please bring your own or purchase at any nearby store or gas station



Grill: Traeger Pellet grill with space for all the meats and veggies. We provide the fuel as well



Oven: We do not provide an oven, but we do provide a countertop oven that gives a big performance for a small appliance. It is large enough to fit a 14" pizza and can even airfry!



Game barn: We have all the games. Billiards, Ping Pong, Ski Ball, Air Hockey, PacMan, and Karaoke! The barn is lightly heated throughout the winter meaning it will be usable, but you may need a light jacket. Kind of like year-around fall temperatures :)



Because sound travels far, we have want to respect neighboring properties. We request reduced noise and lower music levels when outdoors after 9pm

Emerald Forest Lodge is so perfect, you'll want to stay forever. We've had guests ask. Just kidding. (But seriously.)



Guest Access:

You'll have access to 5 private acres mixed with grass and woods. Have fun and explore!



Your unique access code will be sent to you in the messages after booking. We use keypad entry and change the code between every guest for added security.



Other Things to Note:

We love a good time, but do not allow large parties. For this reason, we charge $100/guest that is not listed in the booking.



No smoking inside....please. Outside is allowed, but please help us out and pick-up any cigarette butts. A $500 indoor smoking fee for indoor smoking (yikes!)



Interaction with Guests:

We want this to be the best stay, but occasionally things happen. Please feel free to message me through the Airbnb app or give me a call. I'm local and happy to help with anything.

Cabin offers fun activities to keep you entertained on rainy days. We enjoyed the game barn and hot tub. We cooked most of our meals in the kitchen and found it well equipped to do so. Beds were comfortable and host was quick to respond to questions or concerns.

lower level sleeping area was very cold and we could not get the gas fireplace to work. the lights on the lower back patio were burnt out and had to be replaced. The remote for the lower level TV was not working and needed charged. There was no charger found but we did find a battery operated charger after some searching. Some kitchen utensils and skillets had to be washed before using. No instructions on how to use the upper level pellet fireplace so it wasn't used. No instructions on how to use the fun barn heater. Only two chairs for the outside firepit. We enjoyed the fun barn. It does need some TLC, but we spent most of our time in there. A visit from one of your staff did answer some questions on Tuesday evening. He did replace some bulbs and put a bench at the firepit. He did demonstrate how to use the lower level fireplace, but we could not get it to light. Overall, we enjoyed out week despite the issues we had. However, for the price, the maintenance on the home should have been much better and you need to have a binder with instructions on how to use the fireplaces, and the countertop oven.

This home had everything and we utilized almost every amenity for our moms and sons weekend as they graduate from college. Fun barn, karaoke, fire pit, hot tub. Enjoyed by all. Highly recommend. Host extremely responsive (though we had everything we needed and didn’t need to reach out during the weekend).

The house was great. We had a group of 10 adults who have been friends since high school. We just wanted a kid free getaway and this place was great. The beds were super comfy and we were very happy. We were a little worried about there not being an oven but the toaster oven worked great and having a grill/smoker available was awesome too. We especially loved the game barn. We were able to split the group up and everyone got to do something they enjoyed. Ryan was super responsive anytime I reached out and was very helpful with communication.

Our friends and kids stayed a long winter weekend here, and we had a lot of fun! It was partly rainy weekend, so the game barn and hot tub came in handy. The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the fireplaces kept us cozy, and the kitchen was well stocked. The host, Ryan, was very responsive when we had questions. Ryan was a wonderful host! Fast responses, and answered all of our questions! Only hiccup for us was the microphones didn't work for karaoke, but Ryan had some overnighted to us! Turned out to be the system, but he tried and it was much appreciated! The property was clean and warm. We couldn't get the fireplaces to start, but believe it was operator error. We loved the layout, high ceilings and comfortable beds. The game room was a blast! Ryan left a Christmas tree up for us and it made our holiday celebration perfect!! We would definitely stay here again!!

We had an amazing time celebrating Christmas at the cabin! There were two families plus one grandparent. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, but also great group spaces for playing games or just hanging out together. The fun barn was an absolute hit, as was the hot tub. Ryan was a super host! He was accommodating to our needs beyond what any other host would do! The place was perfect for our family (8 adults, 4 kids and the dog). The hot tub was definitely a big hit with the kids. The barn was the perfect spot to celebrate a big birthday, not to mention the wonderful singing on the karaoke stage. I definitely recommend staying here and hope we can go back in the future! Thanks Ryan!

We had a really good time here. 2 nights were not enough. Cool quiet country cabin yet close enough to a store if you forget anything! The 1st night the tv wasn’t working and Ryan came right away to adjust the picture. The hot tub wasn’t working which was a bummer but we enjoyed the fire pit, hiking at the Cross mound, laughing and chatting. Plenty of parking. We had 4 couples so they all had a nice size bed and two tweens who shared the bunk bedroom. We weren’t crammed in because of the two different living room room so it’s nice to spread out if you wanted to. The fun barn was a good time. The karaoke microphones didn’t work, but we sang loud and laughed anyway. there were no skee balls for that game which was another bummer but there was ping-pong and foosball and we still had a blast cause we’re just a fun group of people. I did a lot of food prep before I got there because I knew there was no Oven and that was fine for us. I don’t like cooking a lot on vacation anyway. all in all this was a great trip and we would love to come back. There was a flock of turkeys walking through the yard an adorable cat outside that we called Mr. peepers. The foliage was beautiful as we watched the sunset on one of the balconies. We did s’mores around the fire pit and told BigFoot stories. Classic cabin weekend!

Ryan was very helpful. The property had a great atmosphere and the fall colors were amazing!A few items needed attention however. Burned out lightbulbs on the porch at the door, as well as bathroom. Sticky front door. The master closet was inaccessible until I organized the mops, vacuum s, highchair, playpen etc. was kind of a let down. Nothing some thoughtful TLC couldn’t rectify for a great 5 stars

We loved our stay! Everything was nice and had a great time in the “fun barn.” Only bummer was the karaoke microphones not working but still enjoyed music and all the games.
