Very dated, walls were in terrible condition where previous guests had caught it with cases, bathroon needs some love, crack on bath I cannot believe it’s a 4* the upgrade was good, but looks like I would have got that room anyway according to my booking, man on reception was very helpful though, close to train station which is ideal for a train back to Rome

While the building is older it is very well attended and very pleasant. Great air con beautiful spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. Mateo at the desk was very helpful but poor fuy was so busy in the morning they could probably use with one more staff to help. The elevator at entrance for suitcase doesnt work well and its very inconvenient having to walk up w heavy suitcases. Worth looking into as it was the only negative part of my stay. Also the 2 ladies at the bistro bar were delightful and very helpful with directions etc.

This was a really nice place to stay before we left for a cruise. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and they arranged a lovely dinner on their top floor restaurant for the 13 people on our group. Highly recommend!

Our European Cruise.

Our stay was everything. We had dinner after checking in at the resturant down stairs. Friendly staff and the ease of transporting us to the ship was an ease. They took care of everything.

Property is a little run down & a kettle with tea & coffee making in the room would be nice. Take a medical sleep medication that uses hot water so kettle a bonus. More electrician plugs by the bed for phone/iwatch charging

Breakfast was less than **. There had been some scrambled eggs but they would not refill and there was more than an hour before the end of the breakfast time. The one pitcher of coffee was cold, though you could request a cappuccino. The carpet in our room was badly stained.

Perfect for pre-cruise

The staff here is absolutely outstanding. Philippo, Matte, and Matteo were extremely polite, efficient, and helpful. Matte (Matilda) went out of her way to make everything comfortable and working well. She was one of the "best ever" hosts.This is a perfect place for a pre-cruise stay or any stay in Civitavecchia.

This hotel was the perfect place to stay before boarding our ship. It was an easy walk from the train station & to the port. We enjoyed a before dinner drink on the terrace. We loved our stay.
